RE: One Step at a Time

hehehe good for you for learning those important words!!! I love your vision!

I think I already tagged these people - but I really want to tag them again to come to this post to see your heart! hahaha I think they will love you like I already do!

@wrestlingdesires @samsmith1971 - isn't she great! hahaha I just love her!!! love her smile and her energy and her dreams!

oh by the way - I saw your other post where you were feeding the cats rice - hahahaha i didn't know they would eat that!!! LOLOL

I'd love to know more about your dreams of farming! What is the next step for you? To buy a male pig to breed with Sweeney? How much would that cost?

Also - I"m happy that you have a friend and partner who shares your dreams - that is SO important in life!!!

Hahahahaha

Those cats aren't high breed and all their lives, they live here, in rice-eating country hahaha

And next project with hog-related business is to buy a native race- it's easier to raise them and less sensitive to sickness.

And yes, friendship and business partnership is the greatest combo one could have.

So you are going to need to buy a boy native piggie? hahahaha

is that what Sweeney is? a female native?

Ah no. Sweeney is a mixed Petrine and Duroc race, not on top breed but good enough. She's reproducing via Artificial Insemination. There's an AI services here in our place.

And I'll buy a mixed/meztiso hogs, planning to have 1 male and 2 females for a faster production. I'll put them there on the farm, far from residential area. They'll be eating rice bran with leafy vegetables and spoiled fruits.

I had a friend who raised pigs in New Zealand! hehehe

she really loved it - but the male was so big and so dangerous! his tusks were really really powerful! they have incredible jaws that can crush human bone to powder!!! wow!

so you need 3 pigs... one male and 2 female! that's cool! i think that's smart to have 2 females for that quicker production for sure!

are they expensive? how long will it take you to save for them?

They're so much cheaper than high breeds but it is worth my more than a month wage haha well, I'm pretty much hopeful.☺️

Do they have websites where you purchase them? or just person to person?

I need to purchase them in person. I already mentioned it to one of the church member where I volunteered on weekends and she said yes, she'll let me buy them as soon as they'll be weaned off. Funny coz they're really aren't born yet.😂

One reason why I should not have a boar, a male pig that's high breed for they're too dangerous, I'm just a thin lady who wants to be a successful farmer haha

ahhhh so the native pigs won't be so dangerous?

They will be but they're a lot smaller and so, I can deal with them myself.😂 That's arrogance now hahaha
