Hello hivers, as promised, I will be posting part two of my visa application procedure and the requirements I must submit in order to begin the process. It was decided that all of our requirements should be provided by the second week of July, so that it could be summited to KVAC by August. I was concerned since I am new to the organization and my job certificate may be called into question.

However, the benefit of hiring an agency is that they will provide you with all of the relevant information based on their previous experience with other applicants. I began working on my qualifications in the first week of July. During my day off, I went to the bank to request a bank statement for the previous three months as well as a bank certificate. I went to BPI and waited in line with the other customers. I had finished everything in an hour and then proceeded to Picture City to get an ID photo for my Korean visa application. I had my papers scanned and photocopied, including my passport and the page showing my passport stamp from my previous trip, as well as the Visa application form I got from KVAC. I felt like I accomplished half of what was required, and I was so thrilled that I treated myself to a drink. The next thing I needed to do was to obtain my certificate of employment and my BIR Tax forms from my old employer and get another certificate of employment from my most recent company.

Take note that the Embassy is very particular about your paperwork; they even want an original signature from your employer. However, if all of your signatures are electronic, you must write a letter explaining why you cannot submit an actual signature from your company. After compiling all documents, I requested the agency's address so that I could send all of the paperwork, but first I double-checked all of the details to ensure that I only sent them the documents once. They received the paperwork within 4 days and were able to confirm with me; I'm relieved that all documents are complete; the only issue now is the appointment. They informed us that there was a large number of applications scheduled for that week.

We then decided to book an appointment online and headed to the website to wait for it to open. They stated we had to be there early, so I opened my laptop at 7 a.m., worried that my computer was loading and I wouldn't be able to make it. We were waiting, and I was one of the 7,000 or so applications, which worried me, but I was lucky that day since I was able to get an appointment despite the system malfunction. I chose the same August 3, 2023 appointment as my best friend Fatima, however the rest of our friends were unable to schedule an appointment due to the system being loaded and with a large number of applicants.

Despite being able to complete the documentation and having the appointment scheduled early, I am still concerned about whether our visa will be approved. We observed on Facebook that most applications were denied despite having a lot of money in the bank, and I even told my friends that if my Visa is denied, I will accept it and may go to another country after all. But God is good, my Visa was issued on August 10, 2023, and they didn't even call me, unlike my friend, who they had to call to confirm every detail. I was overjoyed for both of us but worried about our other friends.

I'll write another blog about how the Visa process went with my other friends and the Immigration interview. Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you all soon.

I'm glad I didn't have to go through all that when traveling abroad. I had it easy because my military ID covered a lot of entry. Now that I'm out I'm sure I would be subject to more.

Good for you and your passport is powerful too. 😊

NICE, I am glad that its moving forward.

Hi @jacuzzi , yes thank you. But some of our friends did not make it.
