It's been a while my Hivers Friends since my last "A Day in my Life" Blog post as I was very busy and I'm on out of town, I thank God for I am here to share the happenings that I considered a very interesting and also very memorable event of my life this year.
Before I proceed, I first want to wish you a blessed day and would like to thank everyone here in the community and everyone who has continued supporting me until now. My prayer is that God will continue to bless us and give us good health and strength.
I consider this happening in my life very memorable and special for me as for the first time I've visited the Province of Negros Occidental, specifically in the capital City of Bacolod City.
Many happenings and experiences that I will consider special that I am happy to share with all of here in the community.
It started with our long travel by land. It is also my first time travelling in a very lost distance which took us almost a day of travel. We departed here in our place around 3:00 in the afternoon and started traveling.
Our first destination will be crossing the very well-known and newly opened bridge, the Panguil Bridge, passing from Mukas to Ozamis City before, we needed to use a barge almost an hour before we arrived, but now, because of the bridge, we can go immediately for just almost 10 minutes only.
After we arrive at Ozamis City, our next stop will be at Dapitan City so that we can cross to the other side at Dumaguete City, part of Negros Oriental, a nearby part of our final destination. We now used a bridge to cross to the other side, which took us more than 4 hours to arrive.
Finally, after a very tiring yet very enjoyable journey, we arrived at the Province of Negros Occidental, specifically at Bacolod City. The event which we are going to attend is the Birthday Celebration of our Chairman, the company where we are members, and it is to be held at Acacia Hotel Bacolod.
We immediately went to the hotel, so for us to be familiar with the place it was our first time to be there. Then since it's lunch time already we look for something we can take our lunch.
We went to the mall which is just a few meters away, and thank God for the first time we finally arrived at their mall and have some pictures in here. We then went to the food court and ordered our foods for lunch.
While waiting for our foods to be served, I just looked around the mall and I found it very beautiful and so I also took some pictures here. After a while, the foods are now served and all of us are ready to eat that we are very full after.
The event we are about to attend will start by 6:00 in the evening, so after we took our lunch, we immediately prepare ourselves and went to the hotel.
We went to the pool area where their are cottages that we can used to wait and relax and for us to changed our clothes. The pool here in the hotel is very nice also.
While everyone are very busy preparing, I went to the venue as it was still preparing also and it was very wonderful from the decorations and everything. I have also took some pictures here and praying in the future, my wedding will also be like this.
The venue is not yet opened as many people came here to attend more or less 2500 individuals. We have waited until around 5:30 the door is finally open and we're now inside.
At around 6:30 in the evening, the program was finally started with an opening salvo and other presentation then followed by opening prayer. After the prayer and blowing of cake with some presentations we the have our dinner so the main event will be followed.
After our dinner, the main program was now the nwxt which is the surprise presentation from different Teams which are their Mañanita and our Chairman is very surprised.
Also during the program their is a group presentation from different Teams which have a huge amount of prizes but unfortunately our team didn't called as we're late to give our team us entry but it's okay for us, at least we have prepared.
The main part of the program is the giveaway and raffles. Many gifts item were given away but the most exciting part is the Grand Prizes of 3 Motorcycle and Brand New Car paid all of this in Cash. He give all of this for his 33rd Birthday Celebration.
We were all very excited and hopeful to be called, we all prayed to God but unfortunately it is not our fate at this moment for our names are not called but we fo believe their is a perfect time for us in the future in God's perfect time.
The Birthday Celebration was ended around 10:00 in the evening and we've decided to go now as we need to rest as in the next day we need to travel again for so long on our way back home. Although we didn't win the experience is just also a reward for all of us.
