The month of November is about to end, and as it ends, I still have many events and activities to attend too; how much more this coming month of December, as I expected that many more events would happen?
But for more before those events happen, let me share first this amazing and very enjoyable event that just happened to us Pastors, our yearly bonding and refreshing.
I am very happy and glad as I still receive support here in the community from the admins and all the curators, and so I would like to give thanks to all of you and, above all of this, to our God, who never left me nor forsaken me.
Our event today was already scheduled a few months ago as it is a yearly event where there is a certain department that is the one who will handle all the preparations and the flow of the program.
The event was held at a wonderful Resort located at Sta. Filomena, Iligan City, and as I finally arrived at the venue, the registration had already started, and many Pastors were already present, but it had not started yet.
After a while, the program of the event was now then started, and it was opened with an opening prayer and a welcome address. It was then followed by our Praise and Worship session which is led by one of our Youth Pastor.
We were all very blessed by our singing of Praises and Worship to God and we do feel the presence of God. It was then followed by the sharing of God's Word, in which the department head who facilitated this event was the one assigned to share.
We all know that we are all Pastors and a Servant of God but we still need to hear the Word of God. We were all very blessed by what we have heard as it truly encourages us and teaches us, and we will always keep all those Words from God.
It was around 11:55 in the morning when the first part of the program ended, and since it was already noon and all of us were very hungry at the moment, we then took our lunch as the food was also ready.
Here are the foods being prepared as the department head ordered in a food catering. All the foods were very delicious to look at how much more when we eat it. And I must say that it was delicious and all of us were very full after.
In the morning, we have then started the second part of the program of the event, and this is our bonding moment where we will be playing parlor games.
The first game we will play is the tag of war. In the previous bonding we had, my team won the game, and we will try it now if we are going to win again.
The tag of war will be a best three rounds which means the first team to win two points will be the winner. In the first round, we won the game, but in the second round, we didn't. So we are now in the final round, and the team who will win will be the winner and unfortunately, we lost, but the important thing is we enjoyed it.
Other games are being played, but I did not join anymore, for only those who haven't played yet are allowed to join.
Now, around 3:00 in the afternoon, the program was finally over, and all of us were very happy and blessed. At the same time, we enjoyed the event, but we needed to end early as other Pastors needed to travel because their location was far away.
So, we are now in the last part of the program which is the giving of rewards and other give ways. I am blessed for I am one of the pastors who received a prize, which is a 5 Kls Rice and Spaghetti, which I can use by December.
After that, the closing prayer was followed, and it was time for us to go. I was thankful to God that I went home safe and sound and very blessed.
