Greetings from the Philippines to the worldwide world; as we have ended the year 2024, I still have a few events that I wasn't able to share, and though we were here in the year 2025, I still want to share them here in the community. The event that I want to share is our Church's Thanksgiving and Year-End Celebration.
Another unforgettable event that happened in my life in the last year, 2024, is our Church's Thanksgiving and Year-End Celebration we intended this as our day in the Lord to end the year full of praises and worship to the Lord.
Here are some of the happenings during and befofe the event. We have prepared a lot the day before just like the decorations and other needed preparation for the celebration. Though we were a bit tired in preparation but still God has given us strength the next day.
Finally the day has come for our Church's Thanksgiving and Year-End Celebration and we thank God for many of us were here in the Church attending the Thanksgiving from the Children Department up to the different departments of Youth, Mens and Womens.
We then started the celebration which started by our Church Divine Service. It strted by opening songs and a opening prayer and since it is a special day, we don't have testimonies instead we directly go to our Praise and Worship then followed by the Wprd of God.
Here in the Word of God, our Church's Senior Pastor shared about the importance and significance of the Three Gift offering of the Three Wise Men that was given to Jesus Christ on His birth. We have learned a lot and we have understand that their is a important message we can take to the gifts being given to Jesus.
Afterwards around noontime, we then take our lunch in which we have lots of delicious foods being prepared from different areas where we are located, and we eat all of it together. Then all of us are now very full after.
In the afternoon, we have now then started our second part of the program which is our Thanksgiving and Year-End Celebration. We have a special presentation from our Children Department and all of then are very cute and adorable while dancing gracefully.
We have also prepared some parlor games to make the kids very happy while playing and also to the young people and the adults. While they're playing the games, they really have fun and a big smiles in their faces that also makes me laugh too.
Aside from this together with our Church Youth President and other members of the Church, we have also prepared a raffle from different gift items which some are house utensils, groceries and rice which everyone of us have been given as long as being written in the attendance. This is the first time and it was very fulfilling to see that all of them are very happy and had a smiles in their faces.
The last part and the most exciting part will be the next part and this is the exchanging and giving of gifts. All of us had received a gifts that when we opened it, we were all very happy. It was a bit fulfilling to received a gifts from someone whatever is inside but the love of giving it from the heart ia different.
We have ended the celebration around 5:00 in the afternoon and we thank and praise God for everything has been done successfully and we can see that everyone are very happy while going home. We then went home also very happy and blessed for all that had happened durinh our Church's Thanksgiving and Year-End Celebration.
