Its been many years I lived in this place, many great experiences are already did particularly in farming situations. I really proud of living the place just like this and for me, this is very perfect. Here, I can plant many kinds of crops, vegetables and other valuable plants that can be sell to the supermarket. I want to share some of the place here in our Farm and many of us are related in this blog especially those who owned farm lands. In the Municipality of Manticao, there are lots of farm lands that contains coconut trees, and one of it is our farm. This our coconut plants that lives 27 years already. It gives us a great contributions for our Family needs just like money, this is one of the most important so that we can buy basic commodities. I am so very thankful to my Father for his hard work and dedications to us. He do everything his best to culture and develop the place into a farm land.

Here in the Province, we used firewood instead of stove and other hightech cooking materials. This is already our family traditions starting by our ancestors. Aside of that, we can less of budgets by buying stoves. It costs thousands of pesos before we can buy stoves or electric stove either. Sometimes, we sell more firewoods to the supermarket every sunday and the only thing I do is to removed the skin of this firewood and dried under the heat of the sun. There are still lots of people loves to use firewoods as for cooking foods rather stoves.

We also raised more chicken here, and this is also a perfect place to raise more animals just like cows, carabaos, pigs and chickens. This is one of my hobbies in Life here in our farm and in fact, I already sell more eggs and chickens to our Supermarket. I started to cultured chickens with two hens and rooster. Many years has pass, they multiplied and multiplied until my chickens are reaching almost 100. We don't put them in the cage instead we let the chickens walking around our Farm.

There are some fascinating plants can also be seen here and one of it are things wild plants called, Anahaw. Anahaw is already known as the National Leaves here in the country. It can use as rooftops, umbrella, raincoats and even fan. This is also good for decorations in any reception activities such like weddings, anniversaries, baptisms and birthdays. It contains many thorns on its stalks and it needs to be really careful if we cut the leaves of it. It will grows taller just like the coconut.

I was really surprised the time when I seen the fruit of my manggo tree. I planted this tree many, many years has already pass and now, it bares on its first fruit. To avoid of getting damage, I decided to covered with paper so harmful insects will not berching the fruits. Wasps and bees are one of the harmful insects because they used their sting and the fruits will have a dark spots.

There are some coconuts that falls to the ground. I gathered it and put it in one place. We sell coconut fruits into pieces that is why it is very important to gathered this. We are very lucky because our coconut trees contains more fruits and it is mean that there will be more fruits to harvest in the right time.

I also checked my banana plants and it also bare fruits. Soon, this can be able to harvest and my plan is to put it on the sack and tied it until it will turn into ripe one. Living in this simple place and simple life is very fun. All we have to do is to be productive always to achieve our success.

Sort:

We have the same place, we plant vegetables as a source of income, we also use wood for cooking, living in province is peaceful, we breath fresh air. If I choose where to stay I will choose to live in province, less expenses.

I also lived right now in province. So blessed to have plants everywhere like banana a good source of potassium. No need to go on the city to buy if you have plenty of plants around you. Very nice place.

You are living my dream @godslove123. A place like that is my goal. That is where I want to be when my children will be on their own and I am old enough to be a city dweller. Everything you enjoy right now around there is my ultimate place to be. The coconuts, banana, eggs, cage-free native chicken, mango, fresh vegetables, the green surroundings, and everything around there are truly the scenario of my future years not far from now. I am excited to your next post about your place. I hope to see more😇

It feels relaxed living in the farm where fresh fruit trees available and the way of life is simple. It's good to have farm land and if we want to have a vacation and a break from City life we can have a vacation right away.

Your place is a dream place for many who feel stuck in the city and work their whole life. Nindota sa inyong lugar uy! What a beautiful place to live in.

This place resembles my birthplace as I was also born in the countryside area. Looking at the coconut trees reminds me of my father. He would harvest them twice or thrice a year; we gathered under the shade and waited for his right hand to finish collecting the coconut meat. Every part of a coconut tree has its own use, so we made sure that nothing was wasted. Reading your post makes me want to go back to the time when we were still living in our old house in the countryside. All those memories are now in the distant past yet I can still remember them vividly. May your farm continue to fill your table with abundant and fresh produce.
