Yesterday was also a happy day because I sold my baby's stroller. This stroller costs 5, 000 pesos (or more than 100$ here) from Apruva. It has a net umbrella in case there is a little rain as a baby's protection. I am not the one who bought it. When the COVID pandemic was a problem, bartering was popular with the fact that many people lost their jobs, so, some of them ended up bartering things when they didn't have money. That time, I bought my three month old baby a swing so I could relax while she was sleeping there. However, it was not a successful plan. My baby would cry if I put her there. She was scared to sleep alone. She was very used to sleeping on my shoulders. So, during her infant years, I only had a few times to relax. I couldn't even eat sometimes. I couldn't wash the clothes and wash myself in the shower.
I bought her swing for 6, 000 pesos (or I think it's 120$) at the SM mall. It has sounds and swinging toys that she could enjoy watching at the top while being laid. It sways the baby until she sleeps when it is plugged in. I had the SM value card that I forgot to bring that time. The saleslady was very sad to know I didn't bring it because my points for 6k value went to nothing. At the SM card points, we can use it to pay for our groceries or we could claim the items with the same value on our points. When we went home, I was excited to put my baby there, but instead of sleeping, she used to cry and open her eyes wide and clear. I was really disappointed, until I decided to post it on social media to exchange for a stroller.
One day after I posted the swing, there were many people that reached me out to know the price if I'm willing to sell it for money instead of bartering a stroller. Some mommies delayed the payment as they waited for their wages and promised to buy it. Yet, there was a mom who just newly gave birth that chatted with me. She said that she has a stroller that was stuck for years in their stockroom. She begged if she could exchange it for the swing. Without second thoughts, we exchanged the swing and stroller even if her stroller's price was lower than my swing.
This stroller has many memories with my baby. She would ride in it when we're at the mall, at the park and at the beach. During sleepy times, she would ask me if she could ride on it. While her stroller is running, her eyes begin to fall and I slowly move her to our bedroom. There, she can have a deep sleep. It is really helpful. I also remember when I used to feed her during her infant years and she was a picky eater so I put it here with a seat belt. She can't refuse the food because she is tamed with a seatbelt.
Yesterday, I was very anxious where I could get money for my baby's milk and diaper. When I opened the Facebook marketplace, I was surprised that someone was interested in the item. She also paid it immediately on Gcash, without even thinking what if I was a scammer? Yet, when she sent it on Gcash, I promised to deliver it to her store and I made that promise. I didn't want her to think I'm a scammer. She said she liked it as she chatted after she received it. I'm glad it was her good buy from me. I sold it for 1300 pesos (30$ here). Anyway, I might end up now. I hope you all are good today. Bye for now!
It's still a nice stroller, and for that amount, it's also a good deal for the buyer.
