Yesterday, we went downtown to scan a document for my sister in the U.S who enrolled in a university. The school asked her Form 137 and TOR (Transcript of Record). So, I went to a shop that provides a scanning service. The shop has the services of Xerox, fax, id lamination, id pictorial and scanning. Each long bond paper costs 10 (0.17) pesos.
When I went to the shop, it had many customers. The owner was very hospitable that immediately gave me a chair to relax while she scanned the document. It didn't take a long wait even if they have any customers, maybe because they have any machines. At home, we have a printer that also scans, but I don't know if it is still working currently. I bought it for 11,000 pesos (188.8$). It's been three years since I've not used it.
The lady owner scanned another document from another customer. The customer had a lot of questions even if out of a topic If I were in her place, I'd just shut my mouth because I don't wanna disturb someone who focused in the job. But that's what she is , not scared to annoy. If their topic was connected to the document she scanned, it was fine. But it sounds like she is Marites (a Pinoy word that means gossiper) because even if the topic doesn't make sense, she kept talking.
The lady paid her documents then. I was glad that it was finished so I couldn't hear her noise. It was unbothering to see the focused woman (shop owner) annoyed by her customers. They may say that customers are always right, but I couldn't agree because there are customers who love to complain even though the service is nice, and being a customer isn't licensed to be unmannered. How about you? What is your two cents?
