RE: Thailand on its way to being cashless society

totally agree that neither banks nor giant tech companies r here to make our lives better, they r here to collect the maximum data to sell for the maximum price, the only good way to use phone for payment is through using crypto with no banks or any mediators, "quite concerned about my personal information getting out there even if it is something so innocuous as "this guy buys a lot of cheese." totally support that, for the cafe f they don't want cash they should have written it, "I also don't believe in the adage of "if you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about." totally agree with u, i believe that all the scenarios u mentioned r possible to happen & aren't crazy thoughts- "I do also find it concerning that reporters and the banks themselves are writing articles that praise the ease of use of cashless apps" totally agree, at the end i believe that the solution is the mix of cash with crypto for payment but "gold for saving not cash". have a good day

More people need to be concerned about this than they are. I know so many people that willingly allow for their data to be collected with everything that they do. They believe "I'm not doing anything wrong so it doesn't matter."

Well it matters to me, a LOT.
