Rajah Patria here again! For my fourth post, I will participate in the Asean Hive Community Weekly Challenge. This was written yesterday, late post. #SoulfulSundays 🥰
While kids are fired up to look for the easter bunny and eggs, I went on my day with my very own treasure hunting while on my way to grocery shopping with my fiancé.
That's why I got excited when I found out about this weekly challenge with an orange theme. Orange is my least favorite color, but it is my favorite fun color. When I think of summer, fun, and Halloween, the color orange dominates the image I see.
It's true when they say, "The more you look, the more you notice." But I only took things that truly captured our weekly routine. From the moment we wake up until we go to sleep, with side quests of going to our favorite art gallery and eating our go-to snack.
We woke up late (around 9 am) to take advantage of the slow days during weekends. We always go at 10 am before a lot of people go to the mall. We ate a slice of carrot cake we baked, did a 30-minute exercise, and prepared.
We are lucky that we live near the supermarket. So close, that we have exclusive access that connects our condo to the mall. We just walked through it and went down an escalator. Here I saw a new art piece in Galerie Raphael.
Walked toward the elevator to go from 3rd to B1 (Basement 1). Treated ourselves with Dairy Queen and Jamaican, our favorite hot pattie. We usually eat so we will not be tempted by everything and splurge.
This is the first thing by the entrance. I am not a fan of oranges and their variety, but I love looking at this display. It feels inviting to go to the fresh produce area.
Although I prefer plants over bouquets of flowers, it does not stop me from admiring these colorful displays of flowers (fresh or preserved).
One of the things I love about Robinsons Mall is its environmental advocacies and green programs. We have recycled a lot of bottles and got lots of vouchers from this. 2 facial treatments, movie tickets, and food discounts. Not only Mother Earth gained from this, but also us!
Usually, we claim the free 5 tokens in Tom's World and play a little. Yes, we are utilizing free stuff! With everything getting more and more expensive, we are grateful for the little bonuses we get from time to time. We headed back to the private access to the condo and passed the Public Eatery's big signage that is orange!
I know they exist here, but I thought they were red! I was taken aback when I saw there were oranges as well!
We ate lunch and meal prep for the week, cleaned our kitchen, and ate our newly cooked dinner. As we retired for the evening, we watched a movie on Netflix and snacked on Takis. We got this because we saw this in an American TV series, 'Superstore', and it's 50% off. Apparently, it's a popular snack in Mexico so we got curious.
Last thing to do is to prepare for bed and continue my Spanish and Chinese lessons in Duolingo. I am about to reach one year (365 days).
It is easy to take things for granted, especially if they become part of our ordinary life, like going grocery shopping. Our tendency is to pick up everything needed and race back to our condo.
But, we are not going to live here forever since we are just renting it and we are going to move next month. So, I want to cherish and document the everyday life that we had for the last two years.

You have such bright color tones in your pictures. They are all beautiful. What camera did you use?
I love plants and flowers. Dried flowers can add value to long-lasting flowers but fresh flowers always capture my heart more.
Thank you so much for the compliment, @anggreklestari! I used my phone's camera (Samsung A53) and processed the photos to elevate their colors. Since my phone is already old (2022), the quality is not as good as the newer ones!

Hi @jahcabelin.. Wow, you captured nice and wonderful photos.. I love those artworks, food, and the flowers.. But the Duolingo 350-day learning streak?! The best 😍 I can't even finish the 7-day challenge... You did great.. hehe.. Which language are you learning?!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I was doing mostly the bare minimum, like only the daily quests, but eventually I grinded to be promoted to higher leagues. I am learning Mandarin and Spanish.
