Good day, Hivers! It's been a long time. How was your holiday season? I hope everything goes well and that you have a wonderful holiday.
This is the day I've been looking forward to, and the most exciting part of every school year for today's blog, the Christmas party! I'm always excited when it's Christmas party because it's a great way to unwind and reward all of the students and teachers who have worked hard all year. But what I'm excited about the most is the Christmas break!
Recently, I've been swamped with schoolwork, including final exams and projects, which has been very draining. Despite being concerned about our exam scores, my classmates and I still managed to have a festive Christmas party. Unfortunately, some of us were running late, so the party didn't start until 10 a.m., which is a common occurrence in Filipino culture referred to as "Filipino time." We only had a limited amount of time to use our room, so we had to make the most of it.
We began the Christmas party with opening prayer and a short speech from our adviser. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time left for him to say more.
After the opening prayer and speech, we played a game that I can't remember the name of, but everyone participated and we had a great time.
After the games, we had a lunch that was funded by a contribution of about $4.66 per student, totaling $215.14 for a whole food package. The food package included a traditional Filipino dish called "lechon," which is a whole roasted pig cooked over an open charcoal grill. We also had chicken, chicken cordon, pansit, and soft drinks.
And the most awaited part of the party is the exchanging of gifts. We agreed that our gifts must cost P200 or $3.59 and above. This always makes me happy when it comes to gifts, I always get excited every time I see gifts or someone gives me one and wonder what's inside of it.
Everyone was pleased with the gifts we received, and I was especially happy to have the opportunity to bond with my classmates, who feel like a second family to me. I'm hoping for more bonding with them. Before we left, we took some pictures and had some casual conversations with each other. That's all for this blog post. I hope you all had a good Christmas break, even though I'm a little late in saying it. Belated Merry Christmas!♥️

Time is valuable. Every single moment, she believes, is precious. A shy but decent individual who enjoys and loves art.
