Thailand initially had a wave of people growing weed and selling it from picnic tables on the sidewalk, but that was done away with in a matter of weeks, and already things are going to the corporate-controlled legalization like in the USA. Herb prices in Thailand at the shops are nearly what they are in the USA, so this will ensure the manual laborers that could greatly benefit from marijuana's therapeutic effects will not be able to legally afford it. Well, at least a one-hour massage costs less than 1/5th of a gram of weed.
