I have a good friend living in Phuket with no plans to return to Cambodia, he loves it there. I haven't been there yet, but I'd like to visit when the soon-to-be international crossing opens near our house at Trat. There are some pretty good beaches on the narrow strip of land on the other side of the mountain next to our house, unfortunately it prevents Cambodia from having a coastline, but I'd like to check out the area some day because I know it doesn't draw large amounts of tourists due to it's geographic narrowness and lack of locations to visit.
Apparently Koh Chang is visible from the mountain behind our house, would love to see the view some day.
