I agree, I don't mind to pay taxes and fees, especially if the money gets used for a reasonable cause. But this modern world has made travel restrictions more and more archaic, and now even in my own country I have to use a passport to fly because I am no longer eligible for a driver's license with a special star. Without the star you can't fly, and this makes me feel like a foreigner in my own country, so strange. I will make the most of this trip no matter the circumstances though.
