I'm not so sure about the expression "as easy as riding a bike," and Monkey-B is beginning to doubt it too after an extreme stunt went awry.
🤦♂️ You Know What Happens Next....
Sometimes you have to learn the hard way, and from the looks of the above picture and the thumbnail, you can assume how this extreme stunt unfolded.
I was busy cooking when I took the first photo, and I said to myself, "somebody's gonna be crying in 5 minutes." I didn't have time to give some soft advice about gravel and kneecaps, but sometimes we all have to learn the hard way in life. Let's hope Monkey-B's stunting days are over soon because I'm running low on ointment.
🤫 Still Pensive About Paradise 🌴
We've gone back to the land for a third visit, met the owner(s), etc. This time we viewed the interior of the houses, found out the exact dimensions and parameters of the land, and tried to get a vibe from the them if that makes sense. It's important to have a good feeling before taking any major steps here.
We absolutely love the land, and we aren't in love with the houses or their style, but this property is all the creek and natural swimming pool above the rapids. We negotiated a final offering price for the land, and it was within the parameters of our total crypto savings (which is our collateral for the loan), so now it's time to sit back and wait for things to manifest.
I'm not revealing too much yet because I still don't believe this could be a reality, but thanks to mostly HIVE, we have a way to pay back the loan with a 13-week power-down should anything go wrong. If this things manifests, you Hivers are welcome to come and spend your HBD and HIVE at our crypto-friendly bed & breakfast 😉.
Keep Your Decentralized Fingers Crossed... 🤞
Some form of a trigger has been pulled already if you can make out what's going on in the above photo. That's the the owner(s) on the right, me with the wife and the husband in the background, and on the left is our new homegirl and possible neighbor.

I see the harmony in your family is really extraordinary, helping and appreciating each other, by the way it turns out you can also cook, for me a man who can cook is romantic and cool, I can only cook rice and heat water he he
Oh yeah, my son has also fallen from his bicycle several times while learning to ride a bicycle, and did you know that the bicycle that my child uses is the child's bicycle from my brother-in-law, and I have to replace it with a new one and buy a new bicycle for my son, sometimes life is like that. difficult to understand.
But I advise my son to be careful and keep trying and now he is good at pedaling his bicycle, and I hope your child gets well soon, every parent must be worried about his child's condition.
Oh yeah, hopefully your dream of owning the land will come true soon and we can visit there to help harvest peppers and potatoes he he
I have worked as a cook on and off for many years, but my favorite kind of cuisine is Indian, and not everyone likes Indian food. Luckily my family has learned to like Indian flavors, so my wife or I can cook for the family. Now the main goal is for the wife to be able to manage her Hive account and crypto by herself. She already earns three times as much as I do with her posts, but she's relied on me for three years to proofread her posts and maintain her account.
So far she does her own voting, commenting and creates her own posts, but is not able to do anything else. I will be a happy Dad when my ladies can all manage their own assets. I will use the extra freetime to swim in the creek 😁.
I can't wait to potentially have some land of my own, and we will grow as many different things as possible. All Hivers welcome to visit.
hopefully, your dream of the land will quickly come true, and soon become yours the paradise land that you mentioned in the post some time ago,
it seems the secret you mentioned some time ago, was almost revealed, I will continue to listen to what is written and what you share about the land of paradise..
It's normal for your beloved daughter to fall off her bicycle, because she is still in the learning stage, if she falls often, she will definitely be able to pedal her bicycle quickly.
convey my greetings to the big family of @justinparke hope you all live in harmony and always live happily,
this time the investigation about the land of paradise that you mentioned, in more detail what I did. rather than the investigation I did on Harry the lamb... hehehe...
Thanks for your comments my friend. Monkey-B just had another crash today after confusing the front and rear brakes, but luckily no injury 😁. I am still anxiously awaiting news on the land. It's a shame we don't have a fence there because a sheep would be really helpful to graze the hillside that's a bit overgrown. We may end up with a dog some day if are able to settle there, a dog usually provides good security.
They always say when felt down will grow up and grow stronger. Advise sir. Especially for the young girl. Whenever riding a bike or a motorcycle ( in future ) always always do wear long pants or better Jeans. Why? Because as a protective layer against rubbing on the road surface which is rough and lots of bacteria. The better is Jeans especially when they grow up. Because my uncle when he is 20 felt from a motorbike which left a huge scar on his laps ( now married 40 + ) until now still visible.
You're very right, I've mentioned this a few times, but even sometimes catch her riding without shoes. Her last bike had training wheels, and she was very used to putting things in her basket and using her bike like a couch. Now that she always has to keep her balance, bicycling is a much more extreme sport. Hopefully this was the perfect size of injury to teach her this important lesson.
Yeah sir you're right. We never learned whenever parents gave us advice until the day we fall then only ah yes papa was right.
I can almost smell my burnt coffee and burnt roti by the stream already! And yes, it looks like a good transaction. Dave family vacation with HBD, who knows 🤣
Poor monkey B, don't know what stunt caused that, let's hope those knees recover fully without leaving ugly scars
I think our families could squeeze in the tuk-tuk together and go on some adventures, but if not we could all have plenty of fun on the land without leaving. There's plenty of space for you all and I'm sure my Home Minister and your Home Minister would get along well. Front brake and a hard left turn on gravel is Monkey-B's cycling kryptonite.
A real ouch! So sorry to see the knee like that, reminds me as a kid.
That´s good news seeing you handing over the money to the owner.... I pray this would materialize soon. Wish you all the luck in the world!
Monkey-B recently swam in the creek there and completely forgot about her knee injury. Thank you, keep our fingers crossed.
I am already imagining you and Pov and the kids about that future BNB, who kows, the place is so peaceful and with good marketing ideas, some of us Hivers might go there one day! Cheers to that!
Poor monkey-b, looks a bit ouchy. Onto more exciting things, that is awesome that you have the property you wanted. Congratulations to you all in finding your home. Many photos to come I hope 🤩
It's almost official, can't wait to sign the paperwork and get things over with. When I wake up in the morning and go for a swim, that's when I'll know it's real.
Who cares about kneecaps?😂 Childhood is incomplete without falling off the bike multiple times, and yes, on gravel 😅
I am looking forward to the news about the property 😉
Monkey-B's already got some pretty shredded knees from previous scarring. This will just be another natural tattoo for her, an easy way to remember that day for the rest of her life. Thanks for stopping by, I am also anxiously awaiting news...
Buying a house is a decision of a lifetime, not something that can be taken lightly. The plus point is the creek and the wonderful natural surroundings.
You are very right, and it's a sum of money way beyond our reality, well, unless we powered down our family HIVE accounts and unstaked all of our crypto. I am so much happier we've landed a way to keep the passive income from our crypto as a way to repay the loan without having to cash out.
May your dreams come true, live close to an unspoiled environment, and I am attracted to the natural swimming pool, especially the clear water.
That pool is the perfect depth for teaching swimming too. My daughters still haven't learned to swim without life jackets, so hopefully this will give us that opportunity.
poor baby with the road rash. We've all been there and I'm sure she's one tough cookie. She'll be back on the bike in no time I'm sure.
She got back on it way too soon, just reopened the wounds with another front brake related crash.
love the dedication! Hopefully it's just scrapes and nothing too serious.
This is such wonderful news. Life begins! So happy for you. And you thought it wouldnt happen!!!! Congrats to all.
It is hard to believe, but long overdue and much deserved in my humble opinion. Honestly, if we couldn't have got the land, I would've been satisfied with staying in this hot rental room and visiting the natural swimming pool on the weekends, the place is that awesome!
Too bad, but it is all part of learning how to bike. Hopefully, she will get better at it sooner than later.
I can remember all my injuries after learning how to ride. As soon as I could balance I tried to build ramps and do tricks, the results were not so good.
fast recovery , but still its gonna be her great experience in the future :).
I hope it's a valuable lesson, gravel is no joke 😂.
i know right. Just be careful in future.
I feel sorry for you, I am very sick and I will recover soon.
Sorry sister, hope you are feeling well soon.
Be careful next time... It looks so hurting 😢
A little crying, but immediately fixed with a fifteen minute cartoon 😅.
Ouch, hope it will heal fast.
Already getting better, and she's already riding again.
Monkey-B heals quickly at such a young age. Nothing will keep her off her bike at the moment, and even though she's having trouble walking, she's still happy to ride with her busted knee.
