Last Friday was my daughter's school activity.
They have the carnival festival. It's like kids wear any costumes they like and with masks. This is Aya's first time to join the activity. Unfortunately, last year she got sick. She needs to stay at home for one week. She had a terrible cough last year. So Aya needs complete recovery. If your child gets sick, colds or cough no need to push the kid to go to school. Possibly the other children will get sick too.
Supposedly, their activity will be last February. But due to the number of kids getting sick. The school decided to cancel the program and will be moved on next week. After a week, more kids got sick. So the health Minister here and school decided to close the school for one week. And sad to say the activity is cancelled again. The school decided to cancel the program but the children want to have the program. Fast forward,. Kids are all ok. And the program was held last Friday, March 8, 2025.
And I Aya has already chosen her outfit. She wants to be a K-pop star. So as a mom, I let her decide what she wants to wear. And said of course you can. And you will be the star. I did not buy her outfit. The shirt and shoes are from the old stuff of her sister. And the top is my old clothes.
No need to buy, just search at home and save money. So everything is ok now. A night after the activity. Aya said to me. Mama, we need a mask. My response: mask for what? She said it was because of my outfit.
Of course I get angry to her and why she just tell me about it. And I told her next time tell earlier. In the end, I say sorry to her and I will do the mask for her. Thanks God, the tiger mask is still there at home. I did not throw it. I need to be calm thinking what I can do with the mask. Her costume is K-pop and it should suit her. And K-pop is a superstar so I need to make her mask like a superstar too. With glitters and shiny.
Luckily, our eldest has art materials in her room. I used her paints and other stuff. I still can dedicate what I will do. Until I have an idea. I have feathers and paints.
So from this tiger and a new mask, like a superstar.
The day of the activity.
After work, I need to fix my daughters hair. I want her to look beautiful.
Sad to say, parents are not allowed in the gymnasium. Only kids so I waited outside and told her to make photos ok and call me if you're finished.
Then she called me. Mama was done. I asked her, what happened to your activity? and did you take some photos? She replied, mama I only took 1 photo because I was not allowed to use my phone. Someone is taking photos mama.
She keeps on talking like Hugo's outfit is squid games, girls wear princess outfits. And she said, mama no one notices me because I wear a mask. And when I remove it they wear socks that are mine. They say my mask is beautiful and outfit too. The way she talks to me, she's so happy and really enjoys the activity. And she said, mama we dance. I really love it because the songs are K-pop like Gangnam style and APT mama. She showed me her dance moves.
I'm happy if my daughter is happy. My heart is so full of happiness. The reward after my work and boost her confidence is everything.
My heart is full of happiness. Seeing my daughter Aya smile, and I know she feels confident and proud, my effort is all worth it. Purest joy is the reward after my hard work. Her happiness is my happiness, and watching her grow and shine is everything. And Aya, my daughter is everything to me.
I will do anything even if she forgot to tell me that she needs a mask. I will check things inside that I can use. Make my DIY. Mama will do anything for you Aya and that's what mamas do. I'm your number one FAN. Of course Táto and your family are here. But the love of mama is different. You're my everything. I'm proud of your achievements my love. No matter where life takes you. I'm always here for you, Remember that Aya. Mama’s love is forever, limitless. No matter what, I WILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU.

I can recall my teens when wthey were just in pre-school to elememntary levels, I did the same thing for those two in every school activity that requires a prescribed costume. We mothers are wired to improvise a lot when it comes to this. Your work looks great on your lovely daughter. You did well pretty momma😇😍
