The temple gives an unfair impression of how many strays there are in this area. In the temples the packs are large but packs of any sort outside of the temples are very rare. We may encounter a group of 3 or 4 in the jungle every now and then but since the temples are the drop off points for uncaring owners, the numbers are kept high there.
