Hi, Hive! I hope everyone's doing good. This blog is about my ✨Junior High School Memories✨.
GRADE 7 & 8
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my grade 7 & 8 days were far from a typical junior high school experience. Everyone was advised to stay at home, and distance learning was implemented. I don't have many memorable memories because everything felt like a never-ending cycle. All I did was eat, answer modules, do chores, watch online videos sleep, and repeat. It's kinda boring, but at least watching online videos saved me from boredom.
During the last two weeks of my grade 8, the government finally allowed students to go back to school. I finally got to see my classmates for the first time.
Since every class was divided into two sets. I was part of Set A and I am very thankful to be part of Set A because I met my almost birthday twin, M! Aside from Jam (my classmate since elementary), she was the first person who interacted with me. I love her so much!
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, I was still able to achieve With Honors (Grades 7 and 8).
GRADE 9
My grade 9 year was the best school year ever! Our class had such great chemistry—there was no drama, no conflicts, just pure friendship and teamwork. Plus, we had the best teacher ever! She is the reason why want to become a chemical engineer someday.
Quarter 1
The class was still divided into two sets. Sadly, me and M separated, she was in set A and I was in set B. But at least Jam and I were in the same set.
Quarter 2
Finally! The class is not divided into two sets anymore. This meant I got to reunite with M and meet new classmates. One of them was AJ, my seatmate, who later became one of my closest friends.
Quarter 3 & 4
The best part of the school year! I finally found my circle of friends — the best friends I could ever ask for!
Academic Achievement
Finally! With High Honors
Grade 10
My grade 10 days were a mix of emotions—not the best but still memorable. Me and my circle of friends was split into 2 sections. It was sad to be separated but still found ways to stay connected. One of the reasons why I enjoyed grade 10 was because of my favorite math teacher. Every time I hear the song “Purpose Driven Life” by Jamie Rivera, I remember her.
