A simple Thai-style clear soup my wife made from some ingredients from the home garden : Clear soup with young jackfruit and pork.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today my wife and I were at home and we didn't go out. And like every weekend we have to take care of our son at home when the boy isn't at school. But this week my wife and I were quite stressed about our son. The boy's autism symptoms worsened again. The boy hurt himself again this week. Even though we are tired and quite stressed. But we must watch over our son closely with our love. And we hope the boy gets better again in the future.
My wife cooked again today. She cooks a simple meal with young jackfruit. The jackfruit tree in the home garden has only one fruit. And she harvests it to cook a clear soup with young jackfruit and pork. It's a simple soup similar to curry with young jackfruit and pork, but it's not spicy.

The dish also has acacia pennata, wild betel leafbush and culantro my wife harvests from the home garden.

Ingredients for clear soup with young jackfruit and pork.

  1. pork
  2. jackfruit
  3. acacia pennata
  4. wild betel leafbush
  5. culantro
  6. shrimp paste
  7. shallots
  8. garlic
  9. pork flavour seasoning cube
  10. water
  11. tomato

First put the pot on the stove and boil water in the pot. When the water boils, add the pork in the pot and boil until the pork is cooked and soft.

While waiting for the pork to be cooked and soft. Peel and cut the jackfruit.

Crush the garlic, shallots and shrimp paste using a pestle and mortar to make Thai-style clear soup seasoning.

When the pork is cooked and soft, add the chopped young jackfruit to the pot.

Then add the crushed garlic shallots shrimp paste to the pot.

And put the pork flavour seasoning cube in the pot.

Boil for about 30 minutes until the young jackfruit is cooked and soft. Then put the acacia pennata in the pot.

And add the tomatoes in the pot.

Boil for about 10 minutes until the acacia pennata is cooked. Then add the wild betel leafbush and culantro in the pot. Boil for a while and turn off the stove.

Clear soup with young jackfruit and pork.
