Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Free time after sending my son and granddaughter to school. If my wife didn't have to do housework. And we didn't have to go to our family's longan orchard to take care of the longan trees. We will plan a trip to a place near our home. Those places that we can visit, it must not be more than 200 kilometers from our home. Because we had limited free time about 5 - 7 hours, and had to pick up our son from school. Most of the places we visit are temples. And we also like to visit rural villages near our home. We like seeing the simple and peaceful rural lifestyle of rural communities and the agricultural areas of each village. We are excited and enjoy about the new experiences we get to see in these temples and villages every time.
Several days ago we had the opportunity to go to a rural village in our district. This village is called Nong Om Village. It is a village near our home, the distance from our home is only 5 kilometers. Nong Om Village is another rural village in the district with the simple and peaceful rural lifestyle. The homes in the community area of the village are single-story homes. There are no school and market in the community area of the village. But there are local grocery, shops and restaurants. I will take my friend to see some of the atmosphere in the community area of this village first.
Then I will take my friends to see the sacred places for religious ceremonies in the village. The people in Nong Om Village are local northern Thais and are mostly buddhists. So temples are sacred places for religious ceremonies. The village's temple is named Wat Sripatummaram. This temple is outside the community and temple is located on a hill.
This temple is a small rural temple. On the outdoor courtyard there is a buddha image pavilion, a buddha image hall (viharn), a building and section containing the monks' living quarters with the many trees.
The agricultural area of this village is naturally rich. There are many nature water body both in community areas and agricultural areas. And there are various farms such as rice fields, corn farms, longan orchards and others.
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
