Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. This post I will take my friends to see a temple in my country again. This temple is the 90th temple that I will share with my friends. And this trip with my wife are still a temple in Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai. A rural district of the province with many temples. There are both local Thai temples and ethnic group temples. This temple is called Wat Sa-at Chai Si. This temple is mostly built in the Lanna art style (the art of the northern of the Thailand).

Brief information about the temple. Wat Sa-at Chai Si is common monastery of local Thai community located in Muang Ngai Subdistrict. On the highway 1178 in the community area of Subdistrict. Although Wat Sa-at Chai Sri is located in a community area, but this temple is a small rural temple and an old temple that is more than 100 years old.
Wat Sa-at Chai Si was received permission to be established as a temple in AD 1912 or 113 years ago. There is no information about the royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree of this temple.

Let's go see the atmosphere of the temple. When my wife and I arrived at this temple. This temple is surrounded by a wall. The wall is made of bricks and spread cement on bricks with white paint. But the walls look old. And there is a temple sign made of wood.

The tmosphere on highway 1178 in front of the temple.

The walls and temple sign.

There are 3 highlights of Wat Sa-at Chai Si. If we walk to the across from the temple. We saw 3 highlights of this temple close to each other.

The first highlight of the temple is the entrance arch. The arch is made of bricks and spread cement on bricks with white paint like the wall. I think made a style similar to an ancient castle of Thailand. But on top of the arch is the mini pagodas. Although this entrance arch looks old, but it looks grand.

Between the entrance arch are two large lion statues.

The second highlight of the temple is the buddha image hall (viharn). The temple's buddha image hall (viharn) is made of bricks and spread cement on bricks with white paint too. The construction and decoration of this buddha image hall (viharn) is in the Lanna art style. Of course on the railing of the stairs to the entrance of the buddha image hall (viharn) there are two serpent statues too.

The third highlight of the temple is a outdoor buddha image. This buddha image is a large gold color buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara. And the buddha image in Lanna art style.

There are two small buddha image pavilions on the sides of this buddha image too.

Other atmosphere in the temple. At the back of the temple is the ordination hall (ubosot). The new ordination hall (ubosot) is under construction. This ordination hall (ubosot) was built in the original Lanna style.

In addition inside the temple there are small outdoor buddha images.

And outdoor buffalo statues.

Bell in a small pavilion.

Finally, this temple is shaded by many plants. And the area of section containing the monks' living quarters, which we did not walk.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
