Helencha spinach fry = My homemade recipe 😋👩🏽‍🍳🥬

I'm back with a new homemade recipe. Hope everyone is healthy and well.
I'll share my cooking recipe of Helencha spinach fry 🥬.

I am here with a very useful spinach recipe to share with you. The original name of the spinach is Helencha spinach . We have different names of this spinach here. But I know it as Helencha spinach . This spinach has a lot of health benefits.

Here we eat the leaves of this plant as a spinach . It is my favorite spinach among a lot others. Different types of items can be made with this spinach .

Usually these spinach are not available in the market. Generally they grow in flat areas or in the wild. Also they grow more in low land, wet and humid places. These plants spread densely on the ground and are 30 to 60 cm tall.

Anyway, my husband surprisingly found these spinach in the market and bought them when he came home. I was very surprised to see these because I saw the greens after many days. Anyway, I have said a lot, now let's go to the recipe.

Ingredients & Steps to follow:

All the ingredients are not pictured here but I made this recipe as per below ingredients.

  • Helencha spinach
  • Onion
  • Green chilies
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Oil

The process to follow:

First, I cut the spinach well. I took the leaves of this spinach and cut the stems separately. I put the leaves in the red basket in the picture when the stems goes to trash bin.

Then I cut these spinach from my balcony garden. Because Helencha spinach become very thin after cooking, so I mixed them with these spinach for cooking. These spinach are very good to eat.

At this stage I washed the spinach very well. These spinach are green and fresh. I like to clean these with a lot of water because the leaves can have a lot of sand or other dirt. If you don't wash well at this time, you might feel the sands in your mouth.

Then I put all the spinach on a board and cut them into small pieces with a knife. This time I cut all the spinach very carefully.

I took these Malabar spinach from my garden. These spinach are very tasty to eat. I washed the leaves well and cut them into small pieces. Then I mixed all the spinach together.

Now it's time to show cooking. First I put a pan on the stove and put enough oil. I kept it like this for some time to heat the oil.

After the oil was heated, I chopped onion. I fried the onions lightly. Then I chopped the garlic and mixed the onion and garlic well.

After that I stirred the onion and garlic well with a spoon. I added salt to taste to make the onions soft quickly.

Then I fried the onion and garlic for a while. I added the greens when these were light brown in color.

At this stage I mixed the spinach well with the spices. Then I chopped some green chilies and mixed all the ingredients very well.

After that, I stirred the spinach very well and fried them for some time. After about 5 minutes these were soft and done cooking.

This is my Helencha spinach recipe ready. It tasted great. This dish is very healthy and delicious. Served these in a bowl to share with you. This recipe is very easy and simple dish. Hope you like it. Best wishes for the day.
