At 8:30 in the morning, I woke up late. I decided to ride and shop. Along the way, I saw the streets were not busy since it was Sunday. I noticed people didn’t hurry to work. I enjoyed the calm, pedaling leisurely, taking in the quiet charm of the day.
First, I went to a factory pet food shop. I bought chicken food; 1/2 kg cost IDR 5,000. The shop also sells birds and DOCs. I browsed their selection, admiring the chirping birds, but I only left with the food for my chickens.
I rode to a baking ingredients shop, feeling the sunlight heat my skin. Though it was still morning, the sunlight was very hot, making me sweat as I pedaled. I squinted against the bright rays, eager to reach the shop and escape the scorching heat for a while.
On the way, I passed the last rice field. It was a pity that the farmer’s land would soon be turned into buildings. Some geese were resting peacefully under the warm sun, enjoying the day. I couldn't help but feel sad, knowing that this peaceful scene would soon be gone.
I arrived at the baking ingredient store, and it was busy. I bought a carton of milk and a kilo of wheat flour. The shelves were full of all sorts of baking items, and the colorful displays really caught my attention. I couldn’t help but smile, excited for what I’d bake next.
I rode to the green grocery, hoping to buy tempeh and vegetables for soup. The display was simple, yet the vibrant green of fresh vegetables overwhelmed my senses. The vivid hues of leafy greens and herbs filled my sight, making the shopping experience feel refreshing and visually satisfying.
I visited the retailer store to buy yeast and sugar, then headed home. The simple errands felt peaceful, and the morning breeze added to the calm. It was a small, yet fulfilling moment, marking the start of a wonderful day.
