Same here. Some people are not disciplined with their trashes. They just throw it everywhere. The rivers in urban places are very much polluted. They make the river a flowing bin. While most people in metropolitan cannot see pristine and clean water anymore, it is opposite here in a countryside we lived, but I'm afraid that investors will have the interest to build commercial buildings that will forever destruct the areas.

The attitude of "out of sight, out of mind" and "not my property, not my problem" is a terrible way for people to live their lives and eventually they end up with a country that is so filled with trash that it is everywhere. I think that most of Vietnam is just one giant trash heap and they only clean the tourist areas. I think that is the case of this country that it is actually too far gone to ever be able to fix it.
