Hi all,
This would be my first post within the Asean Hive Community. I have joined Hive for almost two years now, but I am not that active. I occasionally post content that is mostly about my life. I am currently living in Gombak which is located in Selangor, Malaysia. There are a few famous places in Gombak such as Batu Caves temple, Batu Kanching waterfall, and Bukit Tabur. I think that is all for the short introduction about myself.
For the long weekend, I brought my family for a short vacation in Port Dickson. We stayed there for 2 days and 1 night. Since it was the weekend, the place was so crowded with people. At first, I planned to camp at the seaside, but after some thinking, I decided to book a hotel. Finding a hotel is also challenging. After trying to book a few hotels from the booking.com website, I finally managed to book a room at Corus Paradise Port Dickson.
As you can see in the picture, that is me and my two sons. My eldest son is 10 years old, and the youngest is 8 years old. They are the main reason I still keep fighting for all these years. The year 2023 has proven itself to be a year full of challenges and hardships. I have faced numerous tests, and some of these challenges have brought me to what I can describe as the lowest point of my life. For the year 2024, my sole aspiration and motivation is to rise again and become a better version of myself. I am doing all this for the sake of my sons.
Initially, I didn't want to go into the swimming pool and get wet. But after repeatedly being asked by my sons, I jumped in and joined them. Seeing them laugh and smile makes me happy. I stayed in the pool for 20 or 30 minutes before getting out and taking a rest at the sunlounger. From there, I monitor my sons. I think they get out of the swimming pool after more than an hour.
By the time they got out of the swimming pool, I could see both of them were shivering and having shriveled fingers. I proceeded to wrap them using the towel. While on our way back to the hotel room, they said to me that they wanted to come back to the swimming pool before going back to our home tomorrow. I just nodded to their request.

Keep it up @lensadigital, Mostly, starting last year, all necessary expenses like house chores, rice, vegetables, meat, and eggs increased drastically. Standard income has not seen any increment, and there are fewer projects. Hoping for a bit of luck this year.
