About a month ago we encountered the most severe injury of any animal we have ever rescued here in Krabi. This dog, apparently from a fight with another dog, had a massive wound on his neck and when we found him the wound was still wet with blood and the gash on his neck was massive. If the wounds themselves did not kill him, the infection and infestation of parasites that were certain to follow certainly would have.
Thankfully, we found him early, got hi stitched up and cleaned, and are proud to announce that he has been re-introduced to his environment where we found.
