It's like corn fritters, it is best pair with sweet chilli sauce. Here in the Philippines, we also have fried vegetables we called it "ukoy" it is grated squash with eggs, flour, seasonings then fried. there's a lot of version of it some may put shrimp, carrots, onions. It is best served hot paired with vinegar.
