HELLO EVERYONE,
My dear friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is healthy and well. I am also fairly well by the grace of God.
Friends, today I have come to you again with a new post. Today I have come to share my experience of coming to Dhaka by ferry after a long time. There was a time when it was absolutely impossible to go to Dhaka from our city without the ferry. To go to Dhaka, you had to go by ferry. But now, with the Padma Bridge, ferry travel is almost completely stopped. Since the Padma Bridge, Dhaka has always been reached by bridge. But this time, due to political reasons, it was decided to go by ferry. It felt good to go by ferry after a long time. Because after a long time, when the buses board the ferry, the beauty of the river can be enjoyed in a great way. I liked that feeling very much. I will share that feeling with you now. I hope you like it.
After traveling for about an hour, our bus stopped at the ferry pier. Within a minute, we boarded the ferry. There was a time when buses used to stand and wait for hours for the ferry. Now the ferry waits for the bus. Everything changes with time. However, after a long time, when I went to the ferry, I saw the same situation as before, no improvement. The same condition of the road. Anyway, after boarding the ferry, we got off the bus and went up to the top of the ferry. I had left in a hurry in the morning and could not have tea, so I went up to have tea.
After going up, I saw many people sitting there having breakfast. But I also saw the coffee arrangement there. So instead of drinking tea, I had coffee. After finishing my coffee, I stood outside and started enjoying the beautiful beauty of the river. It is great to enjoy the beauty of the river by going up to the second or third floor of the ferry. After a long time, I felt much better after boarding the ferry. Most of the people got off the bus and wandered around on the ferry.
You can see many hawkers during this break. If you go on the bridge path, you don't have that opportunity at all. After a long time, I saw different types of hawkers. Jhalmuri Makha, Chanachur Makha, Amara Makha, Kadbel Makha, boiled eggs, fried popcorn, sunflower seeds, chocolate, chips, cucumber, I saw different hawkers with these. But I like eating boiled eggs on the ferry path. They serve hot eggs beautifully with a bit of salt and it is very good to eat. My daughter and I ate an egg.
It actually took about forty minutes to cross the ferry. We spent most of the time standing outside. Then we got back on the bus before the ferry returned to the shore. I don't like sitting on the bus after boarding the ferry. Although I was sitting by the window, the river was clearly visible. So it didn't feel too bad. But I don't like the fact that if there are other buses next to the bus, you can't see the beauty of the river.
After some time, our bus got off the ferry. Then the long journey began. Actually, it was a different feeling to come by ferry after a long time. But it took a lot of time. Where I reached Dhaka in two and a half hours, it took five hours. So I don't want to go that way a second time. Maybe this will be the last journey by ferry. It may not happen again. Because nothing is in the hands of humans. Everything depends on nature. Anyway, I hope you liked my writing today.
