Have you seen the movie Captain America: Brave New World? If so, please tell me your honest opinion.
Hello, ASEAN Hivers. Good afternoon! My second family and I went to Centrio Mall last Sunday, February 16, to watch the movie *Captain America: Brave New World*. My sister-in-law is a member of Kiwanis International, and as part of her membership, it was compulsory for her to buy a ticket. This supports their business within the community. We were all excited to see the movie because it’s Marvel—who doesn't love Captain America? We planned to arrive by 2:00 PM, as the parking lot tends to get crowded with many members and customers, making it difficult to find a parking space.
When we arrived, a lot of people and members of the organization were already inside the cinema grabbing the best seats. Luckily, we got seated in the highest row level. This was the first time we watched a movie together in a cinema, and we were thrilled that there were raffles and prizes—though, unfortunately, we didn’t win. That's okay we were still happy to be there. Before the movie started, there were advertisements for Kiwanis member businesses, and major and minor sponsors were flashed on the screen. I was excited to enter the cinema because I hadn’t been to one in many years.
The movie ran for nearly two hours. My verdict? The action was good, and the flying scenes and the new Captain America played by Anthony Mackie were impressive. However, I felt the movie focused more on dialogue than action. I was expecting more fight scenes. The final battle felt less intense than what I anticipated, especially compared to the Avengers movies. While the overall action was decent, the unexpected twist of Harrison Ford becoming Red Hulk surprised me. I wanted to take pictures while Harrison Ford turned into Red Hulk, but we were not allowed to take pictures or videos during the movie because it was prohibited. There is already a bill about anti-camcording law to prevent film piracy. After the movie, we went outside to take pictures and wait for the others who went for a cr break.
I saw this image outside a jewelry store's window display, and it really amused me. The man is kneeling to propose, and anyone can take pictures with it because it is outside a store. So, I called my hubby to take a photo of me with this hilarious display. Don't worry he is not mad at me.😁
We were all hungry and decided to go to our favorite place, "Mang Inasal." At Mang Inasal, we ordered five Chicken Inasal plates with unlimited rice, paired with soy sauce and chili for an extra kick. The grilled chicken was delicious—savory and smoky—a definite crowd-pleaser. I couldn't get enough, but I had to be mindful of how much rice I ate. Since the servings were large, I only finished half of my chicken so I could bring the leftovers to my dog. Now I'll have a little gift for my dog when we get home!
This concludes my blog because, after a joyful day, I received heartbreaking news. My sister called me on Messenger, crying, to inform me that our brother was no longer responding and had turned pale. The ambulance took a long time to arrive since their house is located in a remote area of Valencia, with mazed roads. By the time he reached the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. I can’t think clearly right now because we were just with him on February 9 and were so happy together. I can’t help but think that maybe this was his way of telling us that we would never see him again. It’s only been a week since he visited us and spent time together, and now he is gone forever. I created this blog last week and I didn't have the energy to post this last week because of anxiety and sorrow.

OMG! I would really want to watch that movie! I am a fan of Marvels ever since! But then since we live in a remote area, I’ll just probably wait for it online ahaha!
