It is nine stories tall and it takes an hour to arrive from the main city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The town of Tuaran is a small town, and if you plan to head up to Mount Kinabalu, you pass by this town.

One special feature of this temple is its restaurant in the middle of the temple. One of the special dishes at this particular restaurant in the temple is called the Tuaran Mee. This noodle is special to the town of Tuaran.
Confucious
A lot of the wisdom inherited to the next generation are teachings from Confucious.
The restaurant is in the middle of the temple. This temple is also a tourist attraction and is a popular place where locals can come to pray and worship.
The amazing view from the top of the pagoda. I climbed up all the steps of the pagoda and the view here is absolutely stunning. So much greenery here.
My mom rubbed the belly of the fortune Buddha to get good luck. The Fortune Buddha always has a smiling face.

The Journey to the West characters are all here. My favourite characters are definitely Wu Kong (The Monkey) and the pig.
There are a couple of lions guarding this resting area. The red colours bring prosperity. There are also lots of lanterns around the temple.
The view from the 9th story is just amazing. The greenery and the fresh air.

This is not available in Miri (where I come from). The noodles are fried and thick. Then the meat is quite crispy. I would give it around 8/10. This is a dish that you can come and have.
