Good Morning.. my friends.. It is the last day of January and we are heading into February tomorrow. Wow. Just like that one month of 2025 is gone. What is a dim sum breakfast like here in Miri, Sarawak? What do we eat for breakfast? It has also been raining a lot here in Sarawak.
First of all, thank you for spending your time to read my post. I am sometimes a bit too busy, if not I would reply to each comment slowly and read all your posts as well. I find it usually interesting to know about what other people's lives are like in other parts of the world.
LAO YANG DIM SUM
I went to this nice dim sum restaurant here in Miri located somewhere in the town area. This is a popular dim sum restaurant and it is usually full of customers.
What do we have inside this photo above?
Fried salad prawns, som mai, fried bean curds, and many more.
Delicious buns
These buns are roasted and delicious. Do you want to try these? Two enjoyable buns to start the day. These buns have that slightly roasted texture.
Som Mai
These are a must to try out when you are at a Chinese Dim Sum restaurant. These are meat wrapped in wanton skin. Usually, this comes in three and you can share it with your family. Dim Sum dishes usually get the family to unite and eat dinner or breakfast together.
A wonderful plate on the wall. This plate has been on display here for a long long time. This restaurant has been in business for more than a decade.
A meal for the whole family. The best thing about eating dim sum is that you can basically order a lot of different types of dim sum dishes and share them with your family.
Even baby Asher loves dim sum.
He is currently almost turning three soon.

A bowl of porridge.
A dish to warm my belly. This porridge has a special delicious egg. It is none other than the century egg. These eggs are placed into saline liquid and left there for a while. Delicious with porridge if you ask me.
A cosy little place for families to eat together. A place that is affordable and anyone can eat here.
This place is usually full of customers during festive times like holidays and public holidays.

Yummy Dimsum!
I am planning to go to a Japanese or Korean Restaurant on my birthday, and I might try some foods there.
I love dim sum too, a hearty meal of different varieties of dim sum. All your dim sum looks delicious makes me crave too.
