I started flying a drone in the year 2022. 182 flights later. I bought the new DJI Neo a month ago. If there is anything you want to ask, do let me know. I am still trying to master the FPV drone flying techniques, but it is still tough.

This is an amazing place. It is 2000 meters above sea level.
The last time I flew my drone here was in 2023 around October. To get to this area to take a picture of this scenery is a two-hour drive from Sabah's main city area.
I am planning to fly first person if I have the chance. So I saw the release of the DJI Neo and it took me a couple of weeks of thinking before I bought it.
I have been flying with this drone for a couple of weeks. This drone is really easy to use and the ideas of what I could do with it are limitless.
The camera's gimbal for the Neo only tilts upwards and downwards unlike the DJI Mini Se I have, which stabilizes in the air.
The Neo is only 135 grams. You can just put it in your bag and carry it around easily. Connect it to your phone or use it without any remote control.
My other drone, the DJI Mini Se
This drone takes really good videos. The highest resolution is 2.7k. However, one of the limitations is the range. It can travel up to 4 km but I set the safety range to 500 metres to avoid it from running out of battery. If this drone goes to places with tall buildings, it loses its signal. Not a big problem because there is the return to home mode. But it limits the places I could fly to.
The DJI Mini is 249 grams, and it is the DJI Neo, which is 135 grams.
I am selling off the DJI Mini Se at the moment. One of the problems the Neo faces being light is that when the wind gets too strong, I have to make sure to not fly too far away. The DJI Mini Se handles strong winds with no problems.
The DJI Neo and the remote control. You can buy the standalone DJI Neo but to get it to fly higher and safer, it is better to get the remote control. This remote can be used for the DJI Mini 4 Pro and many other choices. The Neo is also able to fly in FPV mode with the goggles and FPV remote. But I did not get it cause I did not want to be wearing the goggles and setting up everything all the time and sometimes for more relaxing flights.

The DJI Mini Se remote - one of the problems I faced with this remote is that it doesn't allow me to fly at a lot of places with tall buildings around. There are many cheaper drones out there but lack image quality and safety features.

This is my first drone. I have flown more than 170 flights. This is the view of Bintulu city from up high. The DJI Mini Se has no problems conquering high altitude.

The Neo is so versatile that I could fly it from the palm of my hand easily. No signal was lost.
The Nabalu Market
The clouds were slightly dark and the moment I flew up a bit further from this market. This market is located at 2000 meters above sea level. Near this area is the tallest mountain in Malaysia at more than 4000 meters. On the screen, it showed the wind warning a couple of times so I had to make sure not to bring it too far out of this area.
