Gaya Market - Sabah market

Hi hi Good Morning everyone… how has your week been like? This was the first time that I visited the Gaya market. I have never done so in my entire life. I have visited Kota Kinabalu a lot of times but I have always missed this market. Usually, this market is open during the weekends. I happen to be there during the weekends.

It was walking distance from the market I was walking from. So why not?

Gaya Street

Lots of lanterns hanging above the market. A lot of walking around the market. Lots of stuff in this market are affordable. So many to see. I recorded a lot of the food parts in a video. Will share it sometime in the not so distant future.

I woke up quite early in the morning and since it was the last day I was going to be in Sabah, why not just go for a stroll around the market.

The couple of days I was staying here, this was the view. This very roundabout. Such a wonderful view. But slightly noisy.

I saw one of my favourite cartoon characters.

It was Labubu.

Labubu is definitely my favourite character. With its furry fur.

This market sells lots of local delights as well as handcrafts made by locals too.

There are lots of tourist that come here to visit too.

The big huge gorilla. It is definitely not easy to be this gorilla. Being in this costume for a long period of time in the hot humid climate of Malaysia.

I will be posting a video soon of the whole walk arounf Gaya street. It is going to be pretty interesting.
