It is December. The last time I met my good pal was a couple of months ago, around June. It is already December. I have known him since primary school. He works in Brunei, and I work in Miri, so we do not usually see each other a lot. Occasionally, we meet up to chat.
He works as a teacher and currently, it is holiday time. A couple of weeks after that, he was going to go to Manila, Phillippines for a short vacation.
So we went to a cafe here in Miri to have a cup of coffee and french fries
The late-night vibes. Chatting when the whole city is about to sleep is at times a great euphoric feeling.
We arrived around 930. This cafe is quite clean and neat. There are cakes to order, too. The tiles on the floor are quite classical. Newer shops don't normally use those small little tiles these days.

This little place is located somewhere in the heart of the city. The vibes of the city at night. I took a photo of this picture to see a contrast of what the lights looked like. This is the shop next to this cafe.
This is my bro.. Aywen.. I have known him for a long long time since primary school. He is currently working in Brunei. The streets were empty so it was a good place to snap a photo before we went to the cafe.
So what did we order? We ordered a cup of coffee latte. It was already around 9:50 P.M. I had just finished work and he picked me up and here we were having a drink here and chatting. The hour passed by quickly and it was time for us to move after that.
It was getting late so we went to another place to continue our chat.. It was 11 P.M. The owners here were quite kind and did not ask us to leave as it was already getting late. But, we noticed that they were starting to clean the place. So, we did our own courteous move and decided to head to another place to chat.
Till the next time. I guess, the next time that I would be meeting him would be perhaps, half a year. One thing about him is that, he is one of my only friends that I talk to these days. I guess, everyone has been quite busy with life and some of my friends, I don't really talk to them anymore.
