Hi, hi good morning my friends,
How are you all? This continues the last post. I recently went to Kuala Lumpur and had to wait the whole day before heading to the next flight at Midnight. So I did some exploration around and headed to the National Car Museum. Entrance is free and the best thing is to see everything historic to the car industry here in Malaysia.
This museum has some of the rarest collections.
Austin Healy
This beast is from the 1960s. It still looks asthetically pleasing today.
The TD2000 is a retro-classic roadster
A vintage car design in the modern era.
The Ford T model
This is one of the cars that have revolutionized the car industry in its pristine shape. I guess, this was what it looked like when it came out in the early 20th century.
Alvis Firefly Tourer
The next car is the
Proton Waja 1.8 liters
This is a legendary car. It is almost extinct on Malaysian roads. There are newer proton models these days. This car came out in the year 2000. That was 25 years ago. I remember when I just got my license, this was one of those cars that I almost bought.
A scooter on display here too.
A breakdown of the car into different parts from the engine to the radiators.
So much is needed to build a car. Nowadays, Proton has been collaborating with a Chinese car company and building newer modern vehicles.
The Kenari (above) - this car is quite rare on the roads of Malaysia nowadays. It is small, consumes little fuel and quite affordable.
The legendary Kancil
If you see this car on the road, it looks like a toy. You can easily park it anywhere. When this car just came out, it was one of the best sellers. There are still a handful of these on the road these days. Super reliable.
That is what the National Car Museum looks like. I enjoyed myself here. It was after this, I had to get a car to the airport which was an hour from here. So off it was to the airport. I had to spend a lot of hours at the airport.
Thank you very much for reading this post. Have a wonderful day ahead.

Love the designs of these vintage cars. Their colors are attractive too. They may look vintage, but they are pleasing to the eyes, and look powerful too. I see some scooter nowadays that try to copy that design, vintage-looking style. I am certain that many car enthusiasts have visited this display.
The cars, even though they are old, have been really well preserved. It must feel really good to see such well-maintained vehicles. The designs are also very appealing. i hope soon i can visit a museum.
Great cars!

Thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏
