Life is precious but vulnerable.
Woke up today to some devastating news from my best friend who in my hometown.
I know how worried she can be but hopefully she will be okay and there will be some good news soon.
Her dad got admitted to the hospital yesterday and today she told me that he is now in the ICU and is already on oxygen support because he couldn't breath well.
The doctors are still trying their best to find out what is the root cause.
Praying hard that his condition will get better soon.🙏
I was actually a little stunned today when I woke up getting to know about this news.
Took some time for me to get up to get this day going and today turns out to be a beautiful bright day.
Which is why I am having my breakfast very late today while writing this post.
It's close to lunch time already though.
Having some of my mom's home planted sweet jackfruit together with some chia seeds.
Froze these last month to bring some of this back here.
So sweet and yummy which did cheer me up a little.
This morning after having a hard time waking up because I had to cook this for lunch and for my husband's lunchbox too.
Stir fried tomato eggs with minced beef.Yummy!
Can't wait to eat this after this.🤤
All I can say is that life can be really vulnerable sometimes.
I have an ex-bestfriend who lost her father years back and combining together with some family problems which kind of took a very big toll on her ever since until today. Few years back I have lost that friendship with her because she was really hard to deal with that our friendship started becoming toxic and to communicate with her was getting really difficult too. Although our friendship didn't end well back then and did affected me mentally too but I'm still wishing her the best in life.
Hope that life gets better for her someday.
So yes a lesson to be learned,
Life can be short and it can be unpredictable too but learning to appreciated and spend more time with the people around us especially our love ones when we still have the chance to before it is too late is something we need to do more in life.
Learning to let go and forgive ourselves and others too is also very important because without this life is really going to feel like you are stuck in that moment forever and living in a hell's hole for a very long time.
As I am feeling the generation impact now, when my nephew suffer heart attack and gone before me 😕 seeing my cousins gone one after another. I probably will not associate life with vulnerable as much as unpredictable, especially when the yard stick started ticking to my close family members.
Oh no.Am so sorry to hear that and for your loss 🥲.Yeah you're right.Actually it's really terrifying and sad these days because not only old people but how all age groups of people are included too.😰
I was already feeling terrified when I'm taking care of my dad who was admitted in the hospital during those MCO season years back.
Life is mixed with good and bad things. May your friend's father recover soon. I also took my breakfast late in the morning, just like you. Because I woke up late as I slept late last night. Thanks for sharing a portion of your life.
