Taking the Kids to the Fair

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY3 months ago

Greetings! How was your day? I hope everyone had a wonderful time. Today marked the last day of school for the week. Conveniently, there was a funfair not far from our home, offering various games that captivated the children. Our kids didn’t miss the chance to enjoy the funfair.

We waited for my wife to return from work. She came back a bit late that day due to a school meeting from 2 PM to 4 PM. The traffic in town slowed her journey home. However, the kids were eager to head to the funfair. We left the house around 6 PM.

When we arrived, there were quite a few children who had come earlier to have fun. There were five games specifically for kids to enjoy. Eiona was drawn to the carousel, which spun around with music. That was her first ride. Before continuing to play, we stopped at a food stall. They offered burgers, cold drinks, skewered sausages, fried noodles, and much more. I grabbed a burger to satisfy my growing hunger.

Next, we moved on to the car and motorcycle rides. Eiona chose a jeep, Rez picked a motorcycle, and Rex opted for a sports car. Eiona learned how to drive the toy jeep, and as she became more skilled, her joy grew. It was Rez’s first time riding a toy motorcycle. He took some time to figure out how to move it correctly. Rex, on the other hand, seemed relaxed and casual.

After 20 minutes at the car rides, they headed to a giant balloon slide. Here, Eiona faced challenges playing alongside many other children who were quite rowdy. She cried twice after colliding with others. I had to comfort her and suggest trying another game while waiting for the other kids to finish sliding.

Reluctantly, I accompanied Eiona on the slide. It was a bit challenging for me. I attempted to climb and slide down four times with her while encouraging her to gain the confidence to go on her own. Eventually, she was able to play happily as the other kids began to leave. I felt a bit dizzy for a moment, but thankfully, I recovered quickly without triggering vertigo. I was very grateful.

Our last activity was paddling toy boats. I organized a little race for Rex and Rez, with the winner receiving money as a prize. They were quite excited and paddled their boats earnestly from one end of the pool to the other.

It was a rather enjoyable day. Although we spent a bit more cash than planned, the important thing was that the children had a happy day. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your support. That’s all for today’s post. I wish everyone well. Farewell.
