Rex didn’t go to school again today. His coughing is getting worse and more frequent, so we sent him to his grandma’s place to rest. The weather this morning was great, no rain.
After finishing my work for the day, I went to town alone to send in my broken grass cutter for repairs. Turns out, the carburetor was the issue. The repair guy said it was clogged and leaking. I didn’t really want to replace it, but I had no choice because using a leaking carburetor could cause a fire while the grass cutter is running. That’s a risk I’m not willing to take, so I had to spend extra for a new one.
I only know how to use the grass cutter, I’m clueless about maintenance. Today, I learned that you need to keep the oil clean and avoid using old or contaminated oil. Dirty oil can clog and damage the carburetor. Anyway, I’m just glad the grass cutter is fixed now. The repair had been delayed for nearly two weeks, and the grass around my house is super overgrown.
I was planning to cut the grass once I got home, but it started raining. The weather lately has been so unpredictable, hot one moment and rain the next.
Meanwhile, my cat, Ninja, was hilarious today. I don’t know what it was trying to do up there, but it stayed still for a few minutes. Maybe it was stalking a lizard and pretending to be invisible, I don't know, ahahaha
For dinner, I had something unique: white rice cooked with sweet potatoes. It tasted so traditional. I haven’t had this in ages. I’ve also started eating smaller portions at night to try and lose weight and get to my ideal weight hahaha.
Rex and Rez made the most of their free time by playing Roblox on the PS5. Being a kid is great, no worries at all! But hey, at least they completed their mission of cleaning up the living room before playing their game.

It feels good whenever we need something to get fixed right away, and it did. The satisfaction and happiness we feel is priceless.
