Greetings everyone! What a day you've had, ? I can totally relate to that feeling of needing a quick snack after a long lecture - sometimes you just gotta treat yourself with ice coffee and some fresh made bread.
Anyways, let me tell you all about my little adventure in the bakery. So, after that lecture, I was feeling a bit hungry as only have but the whole lecture, you know? I had looking for something sweet and delicious. Now, I know my school's cafeteria has some decent grub, but I was craving something a bit more interesting as I visit my school cafe almost every day.
I was waiting for my friends to prepare her school supply, So, I headed on down the stairs and started making my way towards the local bakery. Now, I know it's a bit of a trek, being about a kilometer away and all, but I didn't mind. Sometimes, it's all about the journey, right?
As I was walking, me and my friends also take in all the sights and sounds around me. The traffic and busy of the city as in Cambodia now they have a ceremony, the smell of fresh-baked bread wafting through the air - it was all so inviting.
Finally, I arrived at the place, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a whole other world. The shelves were absolutely loaded with all sorts of breads, pastries, and sweet treats. I mean, you name it, they had it - from fluffy white loaves to crusty baguettes, from flaky croissants to rich, gooey chocolate pies. It was enough to make my mouth water just looking at it all.
I took my time, carefully perusing each and every option, trying to decide what I just had to have. That chocolate pie was calling my name, but I also couldn't resist the fresh-baked breads - they looked so good, I swear I could almost taste them. It was like being a kid in a candy store, you know?
Eventually, after much deliberation, I settled on a couple of items.
A long and tiring day listening to the lecture? Aha, a food trip in really the best to do after that. Just remembered my college days where we always have some street foods or biscuits after a really exhausting lecture.
Sounds good but the only things I struggle to see, is all the plastic. I understand that it looks more inviting, this way, but I prefer buying stuff wrapped in paper. It's a lot healthier.
Wow. The bakery offers a lot of breads that can be perfect for a cup of coffee during snack time.
One of my favorite fruits, like the juicy one...
