Hello Hivers and everyone! I'll be talking about the commands that we see every now and then- specifically in school. Please come along so that I can discuss comprehensively what we did in school to possibly avoid accidents especially with our learners and parents.
Preparing for the Preventive Steps
In previous years, school officials and staffs didn't worry about speeding vehicles in front of the school because the road was rough and the intersection is just in the corner of the other side of the school perimter.
But recent development- or shall we say- progress, causes us some concerns of the safety of our learners and others in the school premises.
So, while the workers are still doing the project, I inserted another tasks for them, the fabrication of the signages frameworks using the GI pipes and the excess plain sheet of the roofing materials of the previous school project.
But I need to make it fast. So, if I have to have it directly painted on the plane sheet, it would take a little longer and delayed. Thus, printed on a tarp is preferred.
Using some cementing glue, I pasted them on the framework. With some strengthening PVC split along the borderlines and to add more beauty to the signage, the work proceeded.
The Final Touch
And now, these signages are ready to be deployed to their area of assignments in the middle of the newly cemented road.
They may just be silent in the eyes of the motorists, but their command is very strict, loud and clear. If they violate the simple command to slow down to keep the safety of the learners crossing the road, and to stop for flag ceremony that calls for national obligation in which their liability will be heavier compared to those that don't have signages like these.
It's just like the double yellow lanes along the highway that commands the motorists to 'strictly not overtake' considering the blind-curve and slippery road. If the motorists would not follow the simple instruction symbolized by the yellow lanes, the penalties and violations would be heavier than those with the white lanes.
The Realization
Although these signages don't speak up, but the commands that they say must be followed accordingly because they imposed responsibility, obedience, and accountability. They also cautiously informed the public that there is authority behind them. It also implies that the authority behind them cares for the people inside and outside of the school premises. Thus, these signages are very necessary for public safety.
