Hello everyone.
This morning I woke up a little late. The kids don't have to go to school these days because it's the school break, so I didn't wake up early like usual. After I woke up, I did my usual housework. After I finished the housework, I had something light to eat before my mother-in-law woke up and told me that she wanted to eat rice porridge with stir-fried vegetables. Before the Chinese New Year, my mother-in-law was sick and had no energy and was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. After that, when she came back home, she was still weak and had difficulty breathing because after the check-up, it was found that her heart had a problem, but it was similar to my daughter's. So these days, I don't let my mother-in-law do any hard work and she still doesn't have the strength to walk much. She doesn't even want to eat anything special.
Oh, I forgot to tell you that my mother-in-law used to be a housewife and after her children grew up, she didn’t go out to work anywhere, so she stopped working at home. She didn’t have much exercise, so when she got older, she didn’t feel well and didn’t have the energy she has now. When my mother-in-law wanted to eat rice soup with stir-fried vegetables and fried fish with fresh ginger, she told me to make it for her because she didn’t have the energy to stand for long. So today’s lunch was just a simple menu. As you know, my cooking style is Thai, but since I’ve been here, I’ve been eating Chinese food for a long time but I’ve never been able to do it properly until the day my mother-in-law got sick. I started to have more responsibilities in cooking, so there are many dishes that my mother-in-law will definitely have to teach me soon.

I started cooking in my mother-in-law's style. Because I understand that some Thai dishes may not be to my taste. Personally, I find eating food quite easy. I can eat any kind of food, as long as it does not contain beef. So I started by stir-frying vegetables. Today, my mother-in-law always told me to remove the inner stems to cook first. I have stir-fried food before, but it does not have much of a smell. But her cooking skill is quite good. Haha, I am not bragging, but it is true. But today I started to learn a little technique to make food taste and smell delicious. Because my husband likes to eat vegetables that are a bit soft because they both wear dentures. Therefore, he does not like to eat hard vegetables. There is also fried fish that I was not sure before where to use the flour to sprinkle on the fish and fry it. This time I was able to pick it up correctly and the fish came out fragrant and delicious. Fried fish with fresh ginger is a perfect match. Ginger helps reduce the fishy smell very well. When everything was done, I called my parents-in-law to come eat first. After that, my children and I ate and cleaned the table. This was my morning activity. After I finished, I mopped the floor and the kitchen. Then I took my children upstairs and started studying. I kept looking at my phone. Now it's almost dinner time, so I have to go make dinner first. For today, I have to say goodbye. Thank you to my friends who stopped by to read my article.
