Made a quick run around Georgetown this afternoon checking out the street art - trying to snap photos between rain spells. Not the sunniest day but at least it wasn't pouring, just on and off drizzle that kept most tourists away.
Managed to find most of the famous ones pretty easily without the usual crowds blocking the view. Just walked from spot to spot with our phones ready, racing a bit to get the shots before the next shower.
Got most of what we wanted to see before the rain picked up again. Funny how the wet walls made the colors pop more in the photos. Not the perfect weather for exploring but honestly worked out better - no waiting in line for pictures and the gloomy sky made everything look kind of cool.
Enjoy the shots!
Very attractive art, they deserve praise.
This is awesome, it makes me want to visit Georgetown even more!
Come! It’s very inviting!
A truly stunning art, undoubtedly one of the world's most beautiful art.
The street is Penang is nice! Been there some years back too!
Sounds like you’re making the most of the rainy weather! The occasional drizzle and deserted streets must have given Georgetown’s street art a unique, gloomy feel. The great thing is that you didn’t have to dodge the crowds to capture those iconic murals, sometimes the weather can be the perfect filter. I’m sure the rain brought out the colors more, and the overcast skies must have added a touch of atmosphere to your photos. 😍
