I've been diving a few times and had an underwater housing with me but my pics were nowhere near as awesome as these. You must have some pretty top-end gear.
Hey man, thanks for the compliment. My kit is pretty high end yeah. It was an investment and paid for itself pretty fast with a TV commission for a Finnish reality show. To be honest its now getting out of date but still shoots nice footage.
The area looks beautiful for underwater photography and you just never know what to expect until you get down there. I used to love sitting on the ocean floor and just watching what was around you as there is so much going on.
Hehe - thats very true, often the best dive is spent in 10 square metres and just let the life come to you. Sometimes I actually set the camera up on a weighted tripod and just point and roll cam.
does that the mantis shrimp which known to have the fastest and strongest punch on earth?
love to see those shots, the place looks really well preserved, still so healthy.
Haha - well done friend. Yes that is correct - well done for knowing this interesting fact. I didn't mention it in the post as it's a subject I'm not expert in. This link has some great statistics on just how powerful their punch is.... https://factanimal.com/mantis-shrimp/
the amazing sea view is so beautiful, in the ocean so many unique and different fish, you are very brave to dive there, you are very great, but I am very afraid of it😂😂
I love Koh Racha! I did not visit there for so long. Im not brave enough to try diving but I love to snorkel (with a life jacket). What a beautiful thing you do to be able to film underwater. Thanks for this lovely post!
Thank you for reading. To be honest at Koh Racha - you can see just about all the most interesting marinelife from the surface on snorkel. Good idea to wear a life jacket if you are not a comfortable swimmer..:)
