Hello everyone, today I would like to invite everyone to breathe fresh air together at my garden house. The atmosphere right now is saturated with rain and water all over the area, making working in the garden very enjoyable.
At this time, the bananas that I planted are growing beautifully. And it's time to harvest. So I decided to go out and pick some bananas to give to the vendors at the market.
The atmosphere while I cut the bananas, I can breathe deeply. My garden house is like a small oasis that helps me relax from the chaos of daily life very well. And today, I spent time walking around the garden and selecting the banana bunches that are ripe and good. Using a sharp knife to cut the base of the bunches carefully so that the bananas are not bruised. After that, I slowly lifted the banana bunches into the prepared cart. Today, I cut 6 bunches of Nam Wa bananas at once. I felt proud to harvest fresh bananas. After finishing picking the bananas, I helped transport the bananas into the pickup truck to prepare to send them to sell at the market.
The phone rang. It was the familiar voice of the regular vendor. It came from the other end of the line. “Can you deliver some bamboo shoots today? There were a lot of customers ordering. The vendor’s urgent voice made me quickly plan my daily routine again. My oil palm plantation is currently in a period where the bamboo shoots are growing well. After pruning the trunks to allow sunlight to reach the oil palm trees, the bamboo shoots are starting to emerge for harvesting regularly. However, due to my haste, this order made me plan my work more carefully. The vendor gave me one hour. The vendor repeated the order again before hanging up. I looked at my watch on my mobile phone and set the timer. It was a very limited time for cutting bamboo shoots. Normally, I would take the time to cut the bamboo shoots, select the bamboo shoots, trim the trunks, and remove the unwanted bamboo shoots. Like Tee, I am meticulous, but this time, in order to meet the deadline, I had to skip some of those steps.
In a hurry, I picked up my usual tool, a knife, and walked straight to the bamboo shoot plot. The sunlight at noon shone down, making the surrounding atmosphere look refreshing. I started cutting the bamboo shoots with agility. Each shoot was cut carefully so as not to damage them. When I had enough bamboo shoots, I started the process of peeling and cleaning the bamboo shoots. Each shoot was peeled off to maintain freshness and cleanliness. The peels of the fresh bamboo shoots were scattered all over the area, making me feel that they were very useful. So I used them as fertilizer, putting them on the plants and flowers that I had planted, to help them decompose. Time passed quickly. It took me 1 and a half hours to finish the whole process. I looked at my watch and saw that the vendor had arrived just in time. So I quickly brought the bamboo shoots that I had prepared to show the vendor and invited him to come and see the fish pond that I kept to kill time. And then it was finished. After my father checked the amount of bamboo shoots, I started calculating the price and charged 10 baht per kilogram of bamboo shoots, totaling 200 baht. But because the vendor was a regular customer, I added another kilogram of bamboo shoots as a thank you for your continued support.
When I finished trading, I went back to the garden to clean myself up and then went to deliver the bananas to the market.
It's time to go deliver bananas to the market. We leave home and head to the market. The lively atmosphere of the market is something we both love, especially the aroma of various foods that waft into our noses. I can't help but look at the roadside on the way I'm driving, feeling relaxed, making this journey very enjoyable. When I arrive at the market, I get the bananas out of the car and go to the same vendor. She takes the bananas and checks their quality with a smile. The vendor gives me 20 baht per bunch.
After delivering the bananas, I walked to the new market. Nearby, there were many products to choose from, including fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, seafood and dried goods. My wife and I went our separate ways to shop, letting my wife go to the fresh vegetable section to choose ingredients for cooking, while I went to the coconut shell shop to feed my pets at home. While I was waiting for my wife, I walked to take pictures of the atmosphere in the market. When I returned, my wife told me that her daughter on Koh Phangan called to say she wanted southern curry paste, so I decided to buy southern curry paste and send it to my daughter at the post office.
On my way home, I stopped to look at the seedlings that I had planted before, which were now almost all withered and dead. But I didn't give up and tried to plant them again. When I arrived at the market selling trees, vegetable seedlings, I quickly walked to the vegetable seedling stall and chose the seedlings that looked strong and healthy, and asked the vendor for the planting method again. After getting the seedlings I wanted, I quickly took them home. When I got home, I invited my daughter to help me plant vegetables. My daughter was very excited to be a part of planting vegetables. She helped me take pictures while I planted them and prepared the seedlings. While my daughter was having fun planting vegetables, my wife was in the kitchen. After we finished planting vegetables, my daughter and I stood and admired the results together. I am very proud of my daughter for being interested in vegetable planting and also for her ability to take pictures. I brought these pictures for my friends to see the atmosphere of my gardening every day. Today, I finished my mission and I have to say goodbye to my friends first.
