Enjoying a dish of steak for dinner with the family is a great moment to spend. This time we visited Waroeng Steak and Shake which is located in the Setiabudi area, Medan City. We had enjoyed steak at Steak 21 and some other steak restaurants previously. It’ was our first time visiting Waroeng Steak and Shake. I’m curious of the taste of their steak menus.
I were driving from our hotel to the restaurant. It was a bad traffic jam over Setiabudi district. It took about one hour driving from our hotel. If no traffic jam, we could arrive at the steak restaurant for about 20 minutes. After parking the car, we walked into the restaurant. The looks of their outdoor is pretty with good lighting as well. Many guests were already enjoying their dishes, their dinner with families and friends. My daughter in orange t-shirt was walking in front.
The indoor space is also nice and clean with perfect lighting. We found many guests were also enjoying the meal inside the indoor are. We found the tagline of the restaurant there on the wall: “Steak for Everyone”. Steak for everyone, so everyone may be eating steak here. It seems they would tell us that eating steak is not exclusive or expensive. We would find how it is.
We know that steak has become a popular dish in many places around the world, cooked in domestic and professional kitchens. The word steak originates from the mid-15th century Scandinavian word steik, or stickna' in the Middle English dialect, along with the Old Norse word steikja.Wikipedia So, eating steak for our dinner is a perfect one as steak dish has been served for more 500 years ago.
After having our table at the corner, I took the menu list and peruse it. I found that they serve not only steak but also rice series and snake as well. I am a bit curious of the look of the steak. It looks unfamiliar to me. The steak I ever eaten is whole meat grilled or fried.
There are plenty of drinks choices as well. We may drink tea, lime, chocolate, and other beverages.
Then we selected the dishes to order. They ate dory grill, sirloin, tenderloin, chicken, rice and some drinks. And we prepared to order the menus.
Waiting for the menus was not too long. And finally our dishes were served very well. But you know, for me the steaks are not common.
The taste of the steaks is good. But frankly, I would think twice to revisit Waroeng Steak and Shake.
