Hello! My name is Regine Geonzon. Most of my friends call me Gin, which feels casual and friendly, while my family affectionately calls me "Gang/Ganggang" because I am the youngest in the family.
I was born in Agusan Del Sur, a peaceful province in the Philippines, but I spent most of my childhood in Cebu, where I continue to live today.
Previously, I worked as a call center representative in Cebu IT Park for quite some time. Since it was far from my home, I decided to rent an apartment near my workplace to avoid long commutes and heavy traffic.
Since I only go home on my days off, I really miss home, especially home-cooked meals, and I also want to see my family more often. I decided to find a job closer to my hometown, and I found one that is aligned with the course I took. I became an ESL teacher, which makes my heart happy because I love this passion.
As you can see in this picture, at the far end is the sea. That was during our lunch break. My colleague and I went there just to see what was there, and it was refreshing to see the sea.
Our house is beside this beautiful spot, offering fresh air and a calming atmosphere.
I’m loving my life now, especially with the opportunity to work from home as a teacher, balancing work and comfort.
What a beautiful sight to enjoy every day and have the opportunity to see this beautiful view every single day, reminding me of how amazing nature is.
Here’s a glimpse of the cuteness they bring—Chelsie, our sweet dog, and my nephew, Ryco. I adore dogs, and my nephew is just as special to me.
Watching them together always makes me happy!
This was when we visited Fort San Pedro after attending church. Situated in Plaza Independencia, Cebu City, it’s a place filled with history and cultural significance.
It was my first time visiting this place, and to my surprise, my sister told me there was a cave there. Naturally, we decided to explore it!
