Hello everyone! How are you all today? I hope you are having a blessed day and in good health. Today let me share with you my quick escape, well spent weekend to charge myself to the southern part of Cebu. My guts were telling me that I need to be in a new place, a new environment and discover the beauty of the places that I’ve never been before. I got tired from waking up early to send my daughter to school and picked her at 12 noon, did the house chores and picked up my youngest daughter at 6pm in her school. So, I decided to go out and enjoy myself as a reward to enjoy the weekend.
The first place was in CARCAR Cebu. This place is very clean and green. It is quiet and few people are here.I walk and feel the fresh air that blows from the sea to the place that is very peaceful, with trees, beautiful flowers and plants. It also has native HUT OR (KUBO) By the way, I am also a PLANTITA. I do love plants and flowers and have sold my plants before. Seeing colorful and beautiful plants again makes me consider buying pots again and plant again. For me, plants are a good way to take care of and to have because looking at them would help you to boost your mood. I keep walking and walking till I got tired, and my legs need to rest. Then I go to the Native HUT or (Kubo) to sit down and just enjoy the place. If sleeping is allowed in their KUBO OR NATIVE HUT, then i would sleep there peacefully.
I ate my lunch in the native hut, I brought with me a lunchbox inside with Rice and some vegetables and pork Adobo, especially my water. Let my food settle down before i continue to explore the place. Carcar was known for their Pork Chicharon, so I didn't miss the opportunity to stop by their pasalubong Center and buy some pork chicharon and Ampao. Pork chicharon was my eldest favorite while Ampao was my youngest daughter favorite and as a Mom I need to buy both for them so that way they are fair and no one would think that i have a favoritism.Pork chicharon is made from Pork skin,fat and meat. It is washed well, seasoned with salt and monosodium glutamate,dried under the sun,sliced and deep fried in boiling hot cooking oil.Then enjoy the yummy crispy pork chicharon.
Next stop was on the boulevard in Naga City Cebu,this place was blessed with blue,clean water. You would not be hungry here because there are lots of foods and drinks available. Different street Foods are sold by the vendor’s. According to the vendor’s the Boulevard would turn so beautiful during night time, when the lights turn -on but i can't wait for it anymore.I needed to go back home for my daughters are waiting me home. Exactly 5pm I leave NAGA boulevard to return home. Indeed, A weekend was well spent on visiting and exploring because I was really enjoying the day and honestly it's really a great help to sometimes go out and discover new places, I am physically tired, but my mind and my heart is full and was able to recharge and ready to be back to my daily routine again. Hopefully i can explore more in southern part of Cebu.

That place in Carcar looks relaxing. Yes, you can really sleep peacefully in the native hut. I will be happy to live in this place but I will be also tired cleaning and watering the plants heheh... Pork chicharron is also my favorite. Carcar is famous for this product. Trying local food is part of every trip.
