It is the weekend 😁. My daughters has been asking me to bring them to a Karaoke place that is located in Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya since last week. Since today we do not have any plans, I agree to bring them to the karaoke place. The karaoke place are called Manekineko.

While on our way to Paradigm Mall, all of a sudden I am craving for coconut water. I do not know how and why, the craving comes so suddenly. I told my wife that I wanted make a stop, and buy coconut water at the shop lot area that were around 200 meters away.
It was still early, and not much car were at the area. Even the stall that is selling the coconut water was just opened that time. I was able to find a parking spot that is located exactly in front of the stall. If I were to go during peak hour, I won't found parking that is as near as this.
My wife offers to go out of the car and order the coconut water, while I and the kids wait inside the car. At the time, there was only one person in the queue. I can see the guy is still deciding what to choose.
He's was looking at the banner, and then took out his smartphone and made a call. I'm assuming he was calling his wife or girlfriend or friend to confirm what do they want before he made an order at the counter.
As for us, I wanted a coconut water and coconut jelly. Both of my daughter just wanted one coconut shake to share, and my wife wanted a coconut jelly only. Total for all of the ordered coconut items was USD5.

From the banner, I can see what is sold at the stall. There are coconut shake, plain coconut water, coconut water with milk, coconut water with lychee, coconut water with lemon, and coconut water with lemon and lychee.
I saw there is a bunch of coconuts are stacked on top of a steel cage in front of the stall. I think this is a good strategy, because customers can straight away guess what they are selling.

The stall crew prepared my plain coconut water first, maybe because that is the easiest one to prepare. Then he proceeds to make the coconut shake that is requested by my daughter.
My wife passed the coconut water to me because I was really near. I did park the car in front of the stall. I straight away drank the coconut water. I feel relieved because I have been able to satisfy my cravings 😁

The coconut shake are prepared inside a plastic cup, unlike the plain coconut water that is prepared inside a plastic bag. I asked my daughter sot a sip of the coconut shake.
The coconut shake tastes really good. Not too sweet and you can taste the coconut flesh. Meaning they put a lot of coconut flesh when preparing the coconut shake. Some shop, put just a bit of coconut flesh, and then try to cover it by putting a lot of vanilla ice cream.
As for the coconut jelly, I only have one complaint about it; the portion was too little 😋. If I knew the coconut jelly gonna tastes this good, I would ask my wife to bought more.

Seeing coconut water makes me miss Cambodia even more. I used to go out in the morning and return with sometime up to 8 ice cold water coconuts in the Tuk-Tuk. There are a few shops like the one stopped by that get creative and offer it in different ways. More commonly is just an orange ice box full of thinly shaved drinking coconuts. Buy one and the seller pops the top, gives you a straw, and you’re on your merry way.
