Walking Catfish Bhuna Recipe

Friends, Happy Wednesday everyone.

Today is pretty nice and good for me, although today is a special day and everyone in our country is enjoying a public holiday. In fact, we enjoy public holidays around various festivals. But since the weather is nice today, the holiday seems more enjoyable to me.

In fact, if the environment is good, then the good things come forward more and more, and if the environment is bad, then everything feels bad. No one can deny that the great influence of environment on our psyche is always operative.

Today I will share one of my favorite fish recipes, although many people at home do not like this fish very much, but because I like it, sometimes I enjoy this fish in a different way. It is said that this fish came to our country from far Africa. And the name of this fish is Walking catfish.

Walking catfish is great for me, although I always try to eat it with a variety of vegetables but today I enjoyed it a little differently. We call such recipes Bhuna. Bhuna recipe does not take much time to make but tastes great.

Recipe Ingredients-

  • Walking catfish
  • Onion
  • Raw chilies
  • Coriander leaves
  • Tomatoes
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Cumin Gura
  • salt
  • Oil
  • Ginger garlic paste.


Preparation phase-

First I took the fish on a plate and smeared it with light turmeric and chilli powder and salt. Then I put a pan on the stove and heated the oil and fried the fish.

Then I lightly fried the chopped onion in that oil, then added ginger garlic paste and light water along with all the spices to grind it.

After that I add slices of tomato and grind it again after some more time.

Add the fried fish to the ground spices and mix. Then added water for broth and cooked for some time with green chillies.

Then I chopped the coriander leaves and when the broth thickened, I took it out to serve.

Ready to serve Walking catfish Bhuna recipe. You can see that this recipe will taste great. I enjoyed this recipe very much with hot rice in the afternoon.
