Hello All,
How are you doing today?
Today I am going to tell about a different story and that is about a village fair. I went there to taste the different types of food at the fair. So I will share with you what kind of food shops were there and other things. Before that let me tell you what I know about the village fair.
A village fair is a place where all kinds of things are gathered together to showcase different types of culture and conduct a special event through various festivals.
Usually the fair is held in some large place. Many times there are different types of fairs in small areas. I have seen many types of fairs in my life. Different types of fairs are held here in different seasons. A fair is a gathering of many people at a place for a social, religious, commercial or other reason. Just hearing the word fair makes me very happy. Many known and unknown people can be seen in the fair.
In fact, there are many things to say about the fair, but due to lack of time, it cannot be said. Anyway let's go to the main story now.
The village fair I am going to talk about today used held in our school grounds before but now that the school premises is locked, it held in another open field close to our school. I have been watching this fair since I was in my school life. I have many memories related to this fair. Once I spent a lot of fun and good time in this fair with my friends.
This fair is held almost every year. I went there with my husband and some of his friends.
In the evening we all entered the fair. At first I saw a variety of delicious food stalls there. The food you can see here is a kind of snacks and it tastes very sweet. My younger sister loves these snacks so I bought them for her.
It was a sweet dish. You can see that they are made of different designs and they look beautiful. At one time I liked these foods very much but now I don't like them anymore.
There were some yummy snacks shops in this place of the fair. Here, this snack is known as Chanachur. These snacks are very crispy. Some people were making and selling these snacks. We bought and ate these snacks from them. They prepared this food in front of us. They chopped onions, green chilies, tomatoes, coriander leaves, mustard oil and mixed them well with Chanachur and served them to us. This food smelled good. The taste of this snack was very good and spicy. I really liked the taste of these. These snacks contain a lot of nuts which makes them taste better.
As we were going inside the fair, I noticed a shop crowded with people. I was very curious to see what was going on there so we went to that shop to have a look.
After we went to this place in the fair, we saw some people making snacks together. There were many shops of these snacks but most of the customers were crowded in this shop. The snacks in this shop are more tasty so I was present there. These snacks are very crispy and tasty. I bought and ate a lot of these snacks during my school life. After many days I waited there with my friends to eat these snacks because many people had orders to take them.
The name of these snacks here is onion fry that we call "peyaju" locally. The people there worked hard to make this item in the fair. They chop many onions and mix different spices with these onions. Then the mixed onions were fried in hot oil. They do all these steps very efficiently.
Then the snacks were fried in hot oil and served in a big bowl. I was getting a very nice aroma from this onion fry. I really enjoyed seeing these snacks made there. Many people were taking pictures of these dishes. After frying these onions, they parceled them to their customers.
After waiting for a long time we also took these snacks. They served these snacks nicely in a packet. I noticed that almost every year this store has the highest number of people. Anyway we ate snacks from there and ordered some snacks to take home. I like this food more than all the food in the fair. Especially in winter, hot onion fries taste great.
I saw few shops in this fair place. These shops had some nice things for girls. There were many types of earrings and colorful bracelets, hair bands. I bought a bracelet from this shop. These were not very expensive. According to things the price was right.
We went to this place at the very end of the fair. There were many people in this place and there was some entertainment for children. There was a spinning wheel. We rode these wheels and enjoyed a lot. Next to the spinning wheel there were some other rides. Those rides were made for children. I saw that the children had a lot of fun there.
I saw some essentials in this place. There were some cutters and very beautiful clay pots. The shop also had some wooden items and some nice plates. There were many necessary plastic things.
Here was a shoe store. In this year's fair, a shoe shop was built for the first time. These shops were not built in the previous years. Anyway, this shop had a very nice collection of shoes. There were also different kinds of toys for children in this fair.
There were some pickles shops in this place of the fair. These pickles looked so tempting. There were many types of pickles and these had different tastes and flavors. There were olive, tamarind, elephant apple, elephant wood apple, plum, mango and various other pickles. The taste of these pickles was slightly sour and some of the pickles were sweet.
Finally we all left the fair ground and sat in a tea shop. We all had tea there. I like the tea of this shop very much. We hung out at this place for a while.
Now it's time to say goodbye. I enjoyed the time spent at the fair. The food of the fair was amazing. I enjoyed visiting the fair very much.
This was the story of my fair. For now, this is where I finish writing my post this time. Hope you like it.
